I ordered falafel, and the girl who made it clearly knew it was burnt—I even heard her tell her coworker in Hindi/Punjabi, “jal gya” (which means “it’s burnt”). The fryer timer had been beeping, and she forgot to take it out on time. I completely understand mistakes happen—I’ve worked in a Greek restaurant for 5 years, and I know how easy it is to miss the fryer when multitasking.
What shocked me was not the mistake itself, but how it was handled. Instead of simply apologizing and making a fresh order (which takes barely two minutes), her coworker—who seemed more senior—stepped in and tried to convince me that if they fried it less, it would be undercooked. I had just heard them admit it was burnt, yet they were still trying to convince me otherwise. I told them very clearly that I’m pregnant and cannot eat burnt food.
Rather than doing the right thing, she gave me one undercooked falafel piece to “prove her point,” essentially forcing me to choose between burnt or raw food. Meanwhile, the other girl smirked as if the situation had been “handled smartly,” and went back to her closing duties—saving four burnt falafels instead of valuing a customer’s health.
I left feeling tricked, disrespected, and deeply hurt. Food service is not just about cooking—it’s about care, honesty, and humanity. What upset me the most was that even after telling them I was pregnant, they still chose to cut corners instead of showing compassion.
It takes only a couple of minutes to make fresh food, but they chose not to. That’s not just bad customer service—it’s careless and unsafe. I truly hope management takes this seriously so no other customer has to feel the way I did. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will never be going back.

I love there large beef poutine, very filling and they are extremely generous with the fries and sauces, amazing customer service too

Ordered a beef rice platter. Not sure why the beef strips were long and rubbery. And they don't cut the meat up in smaller bits like the other locations. Did not feel well after...ordering from food delivery app is 50/50 quality. You never know what you will get.

The quantity has decreased a lot. Every time we order the quantity is decreasing. Service is okay Skimpy on rice and chicken then what are we paying for?! If one meal doesn’t fill you up! No good for long term. I see lots of negative feedback lately.

We ordered 4 chicken rice platter (2 for 1) deal through Uber eats. charged me double the delivery fee and the box was half the regular size. It's not really a 2 for 1 deal.

I've been coming here for years and would like to say that aside from the delicious food, they have the most welcoming and caring employees ive ever experienced. I had an issue with my payment and Nav offered to help me out while I resolved the issue so that I wouldn't be hungry. Would give more stars if I could!
One of the worst Donair places I’ve visited in recent times. The lamb was not fresh at all. The chicken poutine has to be the worst I’ve ever had. Way too salty. They barely put enough gravy, for 17 bucks biggest rip off ever. Stale chicken with old fries even the cheese didn’t melt lol. My kids asked me not to take them to this place ever again.
The owner should train staff not to cut up lamb so early, most places cut the lamb fresh off the spinning machine that keeps it hot.
I was in the place for 20 mins who know when the fries were made. Definitely some old fries for sure.
I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered a small wrap and a LARGE CHICKEN POUTINE, and I paid for what I ordered, went back home and found out what I just paid around 17$ for 1lb of potato, a spit of gravy and a smell of cheese, the wrap is diabolical, just sauce, no veggies at all , called the place and they said I only ordered normal poutine, just wasted my time and money, or im just not the right color I guess
