Me and a friends came by Thursday evening. We actually use to work for a small local ice cream joint, so we love to support ice cream places.
This was not it. We walked in, both employees are either face down looking at their phones, and don’t even greet us. So we say “hi” and these young girl couldn’t care less.
I ask if I could get a sample, I’m told they don’t do them. I say “oh you use to, what happened?” To which the girl just shrugs her shoulders. What ice cream shop doesn’t do samples? You charge $7 for a tiny scoop of ice cream, you can afford tiny spoons for samples.
I went a safe choice, Salted Caramel. It was good. Nothing special, Earnest Ice Cream’s is still better.
I’m hope the school near by brings you enough business, because the horrible service, poor decisions and basic ice cream won’t.

I like Duke’s ice cream a LOT, and I’m glad it isn’t very close to where I live. ;-) The only reason I dock it one star is no tastes. You have to choose a flavour sans tasting. I get that they are busy and giving tastes slows the line, but c’mon—this is basic ice cream parlour etiquette! Also, the scoop size is underwhelming.

My family and I visited this joint and each of us got a scoop. Despite us all getting different flavors, as were all in agreement the ice cream was flavorless and almost tasted watered down. It was also very icey, and not creamy as you'd expect. The price was also a bit outrageous for the quality of ice cream. For the four of us, we spent just around $35 for a cone each. I would not recommend this place. You are better off buying a tub of ice cream from the grocery store.
