Eggcetra Breakfast Cafe

The staff here are so friendly and welcoming! They were very accommodating for our two dogs and our 7 month old. The food came fast and was delicious - the smoked salmon benny especially.

Delicious, quick, not greasy. 6 of us ate and each of us loved our food/drink. One person is celiac and the staff was knowledgeable and accommodating.

We had breakfast, food is ok, nothing different than Danny's, just more prettier on the plate. Atmosphere is cold, modern, simple, some ppl like it. I am not one of them.
The ☕️ coffee got served in a to-go cup! (Safe the dishes, I see) no free refill, if you want an other one you pay only 50% 😂
What I call generous...we left almost $80 bucks. For 1 Benny, 1 pan cakes dish and a classic breakfast ( egg,ham,bacon,toast and greens?)

If you don't go there , you won't miss much, maybe a cold or runny nose.

Tried Eggcetra for the first time and was greeted by very friendly staff. I enjoyed the California omelette which came with beautifully stacked deep fried hash browns and a side of greens with balsamic reduction. Everything had great flavour and was served hot. (Not the greens). I’ll come back for sure.

This is the first time I dine in this restaurant, new restaurant but they made feel so good , food was so good, with reasonable prices, the staff was so friendly gave us the warm welcome, highly recommend for friends and family

Decided to try eggcetra today for the first time. It’s a cafe where you order food at the counter, pay and they bring it to you. Don’t recommend tipping until after you’ve eaten though. My benny was great but my daughter needed just a tsp of sirachamayo for her brioche sandwich because she couldn’t even taste what they put on it. They wanted another $2 and refused to give her any without charge even though I had tipped well!
That is unacceptable and bad service. For that reason alone I won’t be returning. There are better places with warmer atmosphere with the same pricing.

The food was good and so was the service. Clean, very corporate look to the restaurant. Good price at only $30 for 2. Coffee was just ok.

Kid-friendliness: Tons of very sugary options covered in powdered sugar and whipped cream.

I had to scan a code and then wait; People arrived who took a table without scanning and when it was my turn they gave the table to someone else even when I explained to them why I had been waiting the longest 🙄

After trying many breakfast restaurants in Surrey, I have to say that this was one of my best experiences. Definitely a  true gem for breakfast and brunch lovers! From the moment you step inside, the warm and welcoming ambiance makes you feel right at home.

I recommend the southpoint burger and chicken waffle. 😋

My favourite meal I’ve had here is the avocado Benny! I didn’t know hollandaise existed until I tried it and it tasted so good, definitely would order it again. The prices are reasonable as the quality and presentation of food are excellent, definitely a good owner that cares for their costumers.
The atmosphere is really cozy specially during the cold season, and I love how it is a cafe mixed with restaurant style service. The people working there are super nice and they work very organized.
I would also recommend their drinks!! I love their yuzu shaken iced tea and their lattes, they have a good selection and again the quality is amazing, good coffee and a filling meal.

I recently visited this restaurant , and it was fantastic! The menu has so many options to choose, has vegetarian options as well. I tried the Blackstone Benny, and it was perfectly cooked. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles, which were crispy, flavorful, and satisfying.

The cafe has a cozy, modern vibe, and the staff was really friendly. Service was quick, and the food presentation was lovely. The portions were generous, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. I’ll definitely be back to try their avocado toast and other dishes. Highly recommend for a great breakfast or brunch spot!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service and food quality my group of five received during our recent visit to your restaurant. Despite being charged a 15% automatic gratuity, we were shocked by the lack of service provided.

First, we were instructed to go to the cashier ourselves to place and settle our order, which is unacceptable for a sit-down dining experience. When we requested water to be brought to our table, the waitstaff informed us that we would need to get the water ourselves. This level of service is far below what is expected, especially when a gratuity is automatically added to the bill.

When we raised our concerns with the staff, we were told that this is "common practice." However, this was something we had never experienced before, and it certainly does not align with the service standards we expect at any restaurant. Given that we received little to no service, I don't believe it is fair to be charged a tip.

Additionally, the food quality was disappointing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was completely overcooked. A standard Eggs Benedict should have a runny yolk, but the eggs were fully cooked through, making the dish unappealing and far from what I have come to expect from similar dishes at other restaurants. I’ve never encountered such an overcooked Benedict before, and it made the experience even worse.

Based on this service and food quality, we will not be returning to your restaurant. I kindly ask you to reconsider the practice of automatically charging gratuity for groups, especially when the service provided does not warrant it.

Very cheap low quality food for the high price, hash browns are cheap frozen bagged, will leave you with a massive stomach ache and a frown!! :)))))
