We had a friend who choked on some food and ended up spitting up a minor amount on the floor. Instead of showing any compassion for our friend, they charged us $30 for clean up. When we asked the manager about it, they said be glad she was not drunk or it would have been $100. What restaurant has carpet these days anyways? What happens if you spill food, or drinks or heaven forbid a baby spits up? Be careful if anything like this happens (watch for extra charges). Warning, they also charge for take out containers. Guess they would rather the food go to waste instead of customers taking their leftovers home. Food was mediocre at best. I have had much better Chinese food elsewhere. I like supporting local businesses, but we will not be going back here.

I won't come again. There are inescapable televisions on every wall. They were playing a very violent movie. I watched a man get beaten to death onscreen, blood spraying, while I was waiting for my order. I completely lost my appetite. I complained, and the server was unable to understand my disgust and horror. Eventually she agreed with my request to turn the tv off. But she never did. She had obviously agreed with me just to end the conversation.

Because I was at a family party, I stayed, though I took my glasses off. But when a torture scene came on, I had to leave, even so.

There were children in the restaurant and that movie was entirely inappropriate.

I guess some people can ignore such violent images but I certainly can't.

They do have authentic flavors of food items in the menu. People coming from vintage days can feel the real taste.

The deep fried lean pork slice with sweet and sour sauce was amazing. The beef stir-fried noodles recommended by the server were also incredibly delicious. The restaurant was quiet since we were the only ones there. I’ll definitely come back next time.

I have tried this establishment last year and was not very impressed at the time; service was good though. Recently someone mentioned to me the chef/owner is now at the realm; so decided to give it another try. A few weeks ago, we tried the grilled fish, the Singaporean fried rice noodles and a vegetable stir fry, the fish was decent with a pleasant picked vegetable sauce and the vegetable was ok. However the Singaporean rice noodle was disappointing: traditionally this noodle dish would include shrimp, barbecued pork, eggs, sprouts and or peppers and curry sauce. The noodles came with cut up Chinese sausage into small bits, not much of a curry taste or sauce as some of the noodles still looked white; there were shrimps in the dish; just a rather bland dish. I may return to try the dim sum!

It was my first visit to this restaurant and will be my last time. Won’t come back. Served Raw pork in shumai and very bad customer service.

I had lunch with friend. We ordered 4 dim sum. My friend found food flies in the chili oil sauce. We told the server. She did not say sorry or apologize. She seem did not know how to response and told the manager. Then, she offer us mango pudding, which is nice.

After that, we found out there was a piece of raw pork in the shumai. We were so shock!! We told the server again. I told the server and she did not apologize and did not feel sorry about this. Seem that happen often. She said she could made a new one for us but at that moment we just don’t want to eat. I said could I just cancel this order. She said no and she left 🤷🏻 she did not come back and explain anything.

When we paid the bill, I checked she cancel the shumai. Will not come back and not recommend. They doesn’t seem like care what they serve and i cannot accept their customer service.

The food had an unusual odor, they refused to admit any fault, the service attitude was poor, and it felt like a scam restaurant.Never going there again👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Food was good but selection is for those that know their Chinese dishes

I’ve always been a bit hesitant about fusion restaurants, as the concept can sometimes be hit or miss. However, despite living nearby, I finally decided to give this place a try for lunch—and I’m glad I did!

We kept our order simple, opting for classic dim sum staples like ha gow, sui mai, and lotus-wrapped sticky rice, along with a Singapore vermicelli. To my surprise, the flavors and quality were impressively authentic—comparable to some of the best spots in Vancouver and Richmond.

The prices were reasonable, the service was warm and attentive, and the restaurant itself was clean, including the washrooms. Plus, plenty of parking made the visit even more convenient.

I’m looking forward to coming back to explore their dinner menu!

I went to this restaurant first time on June 9th 2024. Nice lunch special I had with some dim sums plus the server, Joy, was full of joy for me! I’m glad she served me well. The inside is great like a bit of luxury. I'm coming again next time.

Had a very excellent lunch here for Christmas Day. We ordered dim sum as well as their lunch special. Everything came out quickly and tasted authentic and fresh. Big portions as well at a great value. Service was friendly and attentive. We wish they had “sweet soy sauce” though like other dim sum places. Would definitely return and really happy there is good dim sum in White Rock again.

I think I finally found a good Chinese food place in Surrey. We had there wonton soup with chicken stock, sautéed pea leaves, and there dumplings. Definitely will be coming back there again.
