“Was there @ The Henry with a large group of guys watching the Canada/USA hockey final & the atmosphere was great. We had a great server who could've used some help as the place was under-staffed considering the event at hand. Great food & drinks deals. Happy hour $4 hi-balls & 59-cent wings were awesome deals!“

“Had an amazing lunch today at Sapperton District Taphouse. I ordered the House Salad with cajun chicken and my daughter had the Kung Pao Noodle Bowl. We both loved our meals! We also tried the Moscow Mule they have on tap and a pint of the Vertical Winter Ale from Tree (drank that too fast to take a pic, so good). We felt very comfortable the whole time. Lots of covid restrictions in place and we especially liked that our utensils came individually packed and sanitized. We found out this place is entirely locally owned and they have a cold beer & wine store inside!! We took home some Rock Creek Cider on our way out. We will definitely be coming back soon.“

“Okay, I am a regular customer for years which is why I have 5 stars. And I love the Great Bear, it’s my favourite spot (kind of like the show Cheers) but I must let the owner know that the change in food has been terrible. I went the other day and was so disappointed that they changed the fries and crispy chicken burger. I brought a friend who had never been there before and I was raving about the food, and to my disappointment they changed the fries to the same you get at Costco. I understand maybe you’re trying to cut costs or make things easier for the kitchen staff but please please bring the old fries back!!!!“
