Please I BEG anyone to try this place! I have been a customer of GOLDEN panda for 15 years after I attended a party in White Rock, B.C where everything was catered by them. Everyone at the party was freaking out about the Almond Chicken and how AMAZING IT WAS! So I gave it a try and WOW were they correct! It is crusted in Brown Sugar and almond dust and if you order SWEET&SOUR PINEAPPLE SAUCE to dip it in you will be in food coma heaven. I hope that by sharing my love of this little gem of a food stop that someone else gets to enjoy it just as I have the past 15 years.....Cheers.
Egg foo young was undercooked, chow mein was greasy, however we enjoyed the war wonton soup!

The sweet and sour chicken was nuggets covered in red sauce. The pan fried dumplings were limp and slimy??? I was so excited to get Chinese food and I’m so disappointed. For $64 I’d rather get fast food.

I was hungry for a Chinese food and this was the closest restaurant at the time. I ordered a small wonton soup and the Combo Number 2. The food was good. I would have preferred vegetable chop suey instead of chicken chow mein with my barbecue fried rice end sweet sour pork combo

I don't usually leave many reviews, especially negative ones. I try to give people a fair shake. But this food is absolutely terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even if they're just looking for a fast food option. I'm sure they have nice staff, and it pains me to leave this review, but it's the truth.

I actually came in off the street had no idea about this restaurant.I read the reviews are already posted but decided to give it a shot.Anyways, much to my surprise.The food was fantastic.The ginger beef slowly kicked my tastebuds. The combination dinner, who could ask for more?The amount of food you got the price.You pay lunch the next day.I would recommend this to anybody.. And those of you that wrote bad reviews.Maybe come in, sit down and have a meal here.It's a lot different than take out

The Judge
The only reason we tried here is because all other Cloverdale places were closed. Used to order here about 10 years ago and it was pretty decent. Today, the food was not good at all. A 2 of 5 is stretching it. Pretty disappointed.

Disgusting. Absolutely gross. We ordered $80 worth of food and everything tasted the same. There was no flavour. Even the hot & sour soup had no flavour. I don’t even know how someone could produce food this bland. We threw out all the food and made sandwich.

The fried shrimps with red and green peppers and onions are top-notch, the fried beef with kale is also good, and the Singapore curry fried rice noodles are delicious.
