First time trying Green Lettuce and I was pleasantly surprised. The portions are huge, the service is top notch, the food tasted great. It will take us a while to try every item because the menu is extensive. Will be returning soon!

Will definitely be going back for more!_____________Nov 17, 2023:Disappointed.We ordered:General Tso chicken, we were given an order that was very much like pineapple chicken. Definitely not General Tso' chicken!Stir fried Eggplant with beef.The beef was negligible and the Eggplant was half cooked, was sent back to be re-cooked. By the time it came back to us, it was time to leave (we filled up on the pineapple chicken!)Chicken Wonton soup was good, the water had a funny after taste.December 2021:Well we decided to have Chinese food again from Green lettuce here in Surrey, hopeful that it would have been better. Sadly I arrived home I had two bags with two orders, what was supposed to be beef and mixed vegetables, turned out to be vegetables only; the other dish they got right and that was an eggplant with shrimp.It would be great if they could get their containers sorted. Each time I've been to this location I've had to do a clean up as the sauce comes out of each containers. When I called the restaurant to advise them if this, they expected I drive back to the restaurant to replace the food. I live about 32 minutes away from the restaurant, so I wasn't interested in doing this. I was advised to freeze the food and bring it in next time and they will make the food better. I'm not sure what they expected for us to eat in the meantime, defeating the whole purpose, of going to pick up take out for dinner.I don't recommend this restaurant at all.However if you want excellent haka Chinese food then go to the Green Lettuce in Vancouver. They are usually quite busy, but most definitely worth waiting when they are.October 2021:Not sure what happened to the quality of the food served this evening. The food was bland, a waste of $53! We've been going to Green Lettuce in Surrey, more so the one in Vancouver, we've never had any complaints.Surrey, you failed us today!Great place for a NON pork Indian style Hakka Chinese food!

Amazing fusion of flavors without compromising on the quality and auntenticy of the food, service was prompt, servers are very polite and friendly, restaurant is kept very clean, food came to our table very fast, all the order at once, well recommended.

First time here today with my spouse and parents. Dined 7-8 pm. Restaurant was pretty full. Must be a popular place. Nice restaurant ambience. Could hear nice background music. Mike , Winston , Clarin and team did an awesome job taking care of customers. Sorry gals - didn’t catch your names as you were doing a great job clearing tables with big smiles. Mike our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to understand. Very good personality. He sang happy birthday to a birthday gal at a nearby table upon delivery of a dessert. Nice personal touch. Will definitely be back !
