Fish and chips sounds so generic but Hooked cod and chips were truly excellent. Simple stuff but done so well. Excellent! The view of Crescent beach, the salt air, and waterfront really made it perfect. Super service too. We're visiting from WA and wanted to take the time to encourage you to stop in and make a great memory.

I noticed dead flies in the vinegar bottle that they have placed on every table. Also, I paid $50 for a $35 bill, but the staff didn’t return the full change and asked how much I wanted back, which felt unprofessional.

Had dinner here in summer 2024 and it was amazing, so good went the following night again. Aug 2025 and it was simply the worst food I’ve ever been served - ever. I was stunned. Our server was good and the location is perfect. I don’t know what happened here. Either new owner or chef. Very disappointing

Fish and chips with zero seasoning or flavor. We could also taste the very old spent oil it was fried in. Surprised the meal was this bad.
I don’t normally leave reviews, but this experience was appalling. I was eating at this restaurant when I noticed something floating in the vinegar bottle on the table… Turns out it was multiple dead flies (see photo for proof). Completely unacceptable.
This isn’t just gross! it’s a serious hygiene and food safety issue. How long had that bottle been sitting there? How many people were unknowingly using it?
If the visible items on the table are this neglected, I shudder to think about what goes on in the kitchen.
To the owners: You need to do better. Clean your space. Check your condiments. Respect your customers’ health.
To anyone considering eating here, proceed with caution.
