Any sushi or Japanese food lover needs to come here. Our first time had the Godzilla roll and omg it was so good! Do not try and order this alone, bring backup 😉
I never gave out bad reviews but this place is a no. Sticky floor, 6 tiny pieces of sashimi for $20 bucks, ramen $20 bucks, two adults and one baby we spent $100 bucks here. Never come back.
Great food!
One of if not the sushi places around!
Staff are incredible.
Dishes are prepared fast and with style!
I recommend you don't wait and go enjoy for yourself!
Just wish they had sumo playing on at least one TV..lol
Located in the Sullivan areas, very amazed to have a Sushi spot here 🍣
We come here for lunch during the work week (sometimes a couple times!). They are prompt, friendly, and the food is excellent. Reasonable prices, too.
Everything we heard about this place was correct. Sushi was super fresh with huge portions. The staff gave us free miso and also the salad (last photo). Next time would love to try some rolls.
Always great food and servce
Had a decent lunch with their BC Combo ($19.95) and lunch set (Teriyaki Combo for $17.95). The Teriyaki Combo was served hot with a good variety of items. Ample amount of pork (diners have a choice of protein), and it came with oshi sushi, which was a nice change of pace from regular nigiri or a roll. Tempura tasted nice and fresh, and not greasy. The BC Combo with BC roll, Dynamite roll and California roll, had 20 pieces in total, and they were of a good size. No issues with the California and Dynamite rolls, which had a good amount of sweet imitation crab. The salmon skin in the BC roll, however, was quite charred and left a burnt aftertaste. It came with decent sized pieces of the skin, but unfortunately, the sauce couldn't save it.
Nice décor and ornaments inside, with both tables and booths for spacious seating. Average prices. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would return if in the area! Lots of parking in the outdoor shopping square.
Rice was okay maybe 3/5 way too much sauce tho the chicken karragge was so covered in sauce if was not even crunchy more like mush or undercooked. Way to expensive for what it is and especially for the portion you get. Just one person's experience imo. Ps they also gave me broken chopsticks
Sushi/sashimi lunch box review: fairly priced. The daily special was karaage, was ok/nothing special. Averaged sized sashimi, decent nigiri-the sushi rice mixture was a little more “fragrant” than others. Average tempura. The floors were a tad sticky and the dining environment really dark: quite noticeable when you leave the restaurant.

Great service and also there are more variety of Japanese food here which others cannot offer such as : chikuwa cheese rolls, Natto Rolls, Oyster Motoyaki, Sukiyaki, Steam Egg White Chawanmushi
Enjoyed the bimbibap roll, good size, fresh and very yummy! Service was friendly and welcoming. Photo was of more than half eaten portion.
This is our go to sushi place. The best overall experience in the area! Food is always good and the staff are friendly
You can not go wrong eating at Isshin Sushi. The service is absolutely amazing. The food is absolutely amazing. It’s always fresh and made well. You can order anything on the menu and be amazed with the quality of it. By far the best sushi around.
Really enjoyed the bento box, one of the best beef teriyaki, really liked the chared flavor.
