This is my go to sushi restaurant, nothing pretentious, you want sushi, yummy sushi you get.
WE DID AN ORDER FOR PICK UP, WE ORDER QUITE OFTEN, BUT YESTERDAY I GOT FOOD POISONING, WORSE DAY IN MY LIFE. PROJECTILE VOMITTING AND THE RUNS. THEY ARE USUALLY FRESH BUT YESTERDAY MY CALIFORNIA ROLL WAS WARM. CRAB MEAT, OR FAKE CRABMEAT SHOULD NOT BE WARM WHEN YOUR RESTAURANT HAS ONLY BEEN OPEN FOR AN HOUR. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN.
Great place for lunch, service is awesome. Server is quick with orders, never forgets items and can handle a full/busy floor.Food is phenomenal. Only thing I will say is that they've switched the regular tofu out for the dehydrated or fried tofu (not exactly sure what it is) in the miso soup. Which is my favorite part.Other than that, I would 10/10 recommend this cute sushi spot. It's my go-to !
Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options ranging from salads to soups to rolls and tempura
Kid-friendliness: My 6 year old loves this place and it's a good place to bring the family in my opinion.
Parking: Huge parking lot, I've never seen it full. Always somewhere to park
Paid 14.00 for karubi ribs( it was 3 small pieces) this is RIDICULOUS, please tell your customers this when they inquire about the item over the phone.Sushi was delicious. There was different owners before and they definitely cared more about the quality of food.
Lovely place! The food is always consistent, delicious and the staff are just the sweetest. If you live in the King George Hub area, please walk over to 100th and give this spot a try. Just all around, better prices and food than the other options in the vicinity.Cheers Foodies!
The sushi they offer is delicious, but if you want any tempura that isn't a prawn or potato you're out of luck. They are able to remove ingredients like veggies from orders, which is great, but unable to swap for any other veggies (Totally fair, as it is a business; just an FYI).
I always order the same thing, a California combo which usually comes with California roll, and 3 piece nigiri with miso. On top of that I like to add Toro, Ikura, ebi nigiri. Here's my honest review:1. The miso came out fast, that was good. Not too salty. Loved the fresh green onions in it.2. My California combo in addition to the 3 piece nigiri arrived. Presentation good, I liked how they Sliced the Cucumber garnish in a way to make it appear like a fan.... however:The salmon was chewy, the ikura was thick/chewy and didn't have that "popping" effect, and mid bite I would get a crunch from the rice. All indicative of the seafood not being fresh, including the rice which has been left in the rice cooker for 3 days.California roll, too much Cucumber to fish ratio. Although I did like the fact that the fish wasn't drowned in mayo like most places.3. Service was fast, and attentive.Wouldn't come back. Fish should be fresh.
Amazing place. Definitely coming back! Also, the food arrived so fast. I love it! ❤️Edit: came back after a couple of months and everything continues to be amazing!
I was craving for Japanese food and I’m so glad this restaurant is just across from my condo. Had a quick bite and ordered their bento box lunch special. Cravings satisfied.
Over all a nice experience at this place. It's located in the corner. Excellent service, and definitely enjoyed the spice salmon and tuna rolls. Price is very reasonable. My son liked their miso soup he ended up asking for two order of miso soup.Ordered the teriyaki chicken and rice, bust chicken lacked flavor. I wish they offered a kids meals, but no kids meal.Restrooms are clean, parking available and free.
Kid-friendliness: They did not have a kids meal or I may have missed bento box.
Parking: Parking available in Plaza.

This was my favorite restaurant for 5 years. I would go weekly for lunch, and even on days off for their special rolls...but i think new owners as former staff are no longer there. Portions changed, prices went way up and quality is not there like before. Was not busy like has been in the past. Also *Allergy alert* There was a dog brought in (NOT a service dog, just customer pet) that was under tables and barking during meal.I ordered two rolls and a seafood salad. The shrimp in the salad had an odd taste like it was in the fridge and is few days old.Rolls both fell apart, mostly rice and not tightly made. The dynamite roll had two mini shrimp in heavy batter that whole roll was basically rice and broke open upon pickup. Had asked for no cucumber (*Food sensitivity) but i had to pick it out as that was not made as requested, nor did server (-who repeated the order twice with that stated clearly)- didn't notice when delivering food, and didn't bother to ask if all was ok.Only dropped off the bill and walked away not to return.Poor service and food quality has gone way down. The one roll was $4.50 in April, now cost $6.95 -plus spicy charges and taxes. To spend $20+ for food that is mostly rice with some odd tasting old shrimp is not good value when leaving unable to eat some of the food, and not leave full at lunch time. Would be nice if servers cared to ask if all ok, and pay attention to details.I wont be back which is sad as I used to love this place so much.
Great local sushi place that has always had great food. Have been customers for several years and orders have always been fresh and delicious. Prices have always been reasonable and the staff are very nice and friendly.
First time order food through Uber eats, food taste good and portion is okay.
I have been several times and they never disappoint. Service is really good and sushi is delicious. Perfect combination.
Have had their chirashi bowl a couple of times so I know the taste, this time the egg had clearly gone bad.Was my second piece and as soon as I chewed it, it caused me to gag and I spat it all out. Tried calling 4+ times maybe 20min before closing to finally get through and have the person immediately and constantly interrupting to say that they were closing without even listening to what the call is about. Finally got them to listen and understand and had to go back to the restaurant with the spoilt food (95% not eaten). They remade the order and egg was fine. No compensation of any kind for eating spoilt food, bringing it back, just to get what I paid for. Only excuses that people ate it earlier and were fine.Had gone here a couple times before and it was ok, but really disappointed in how this kind of situation was handled.
