We came with 2 families for dinner at 4:45. The restaurant was empty, then it filled up. Lots of to go orders out the door. After 1.5 hours, other people got the same dishes we ordered and got theirs while we had nothing. We offered to pay for the Saki and the eggs rolls we consumed. They wouldn't let us leave and put our order in to go boxes. We are heading to our event hungry. I have never left a review before but this is definitely deserved!

As other people have commented the food was generally good... BUT the price hike is one thing... then they changed the size of take out tray to be smaller and still not full of the food . So 3 strikes.. too bad because i did enjoy the food.

The amount of food you get for the price is not good. The food is okay, I was disappointed in some of the dishes they lacked flavour. I find that I could go to Top Kings or T&T and get the same quality for a better price.

Like many of the other reviews the food is great, one of the better places around North Surrey without a doubt. My family and I have eaten in a few times and we're very happy with our meals, the portions did look a little "lackluster" but the quality made up for it. HOWEVER, I recently ordered delivery, and that's where I was more than disappointed, same great food, but honest to God half portions arrived at my door! When the delivery guy handed me one small, and light bag I even asked if he had forgotten something until I peered inside and saw all my dishes. My $85 dinner barely fed my son and I with a small meal left over. The take out containers were small, just "filled", and I felt ripped off. I know prices to eat out have gone up, but they are definitely cutting back on portion size as well. They have lost a customer purely based on portion size in this case. A shame because the food is good, but not for what they are serving you.

I tried Jade Valley today, was recommended by a friend at work. I have been trying many others over the last few years and I think Jade will be my go to place. Very good food and the owner's are very friendly. :)
Tried their honey garlic spareribs and the beef Ho Fan and both dishes were on point and delicious. The only downside is the portion was quite small for the price and the takeout tins they used were pretty small so it was much less food than expected and you will still be hungry.

After a loyal customer I stop going there after 18 years because of the quality and price increase. So, now after 5 years. I thought give them another try again. Wow!! OMG what happened?? Major price increase with half portion dishes and freezer burn dishes. I have read other reviewers about how small food verses the price were right. I guess it is time to let go with this place.

We have been Jade Valley loyalists for years. We recently moved to New Westminster but still only order from Jade - it is by far the best Chinese food in the Greater Vancouver region. We have tried dozens of places but keep coming back to Jade - tasty food, portions are great and prices. 1000% would recommend!!!!

Absolute crooks! Have ordered here numerous times in the past directly from the restaraunt. This time I ordered exactly what we usually got but received a portion 1/2 that we usually do.The order came to $90 ans was barely enough to feed a family of 4. I Called the restaraunt to find out if there had been an error, but was told rather rudely that because I ordered through Uber Eats I received a smaller portion (depsite the price being the same as ordering from thr restaraunt). The owner stated that Unber eats charged them 30% more to deliver, so I receive 30% less food when ordering through Uber Eats. I expressed my disappointment and after stating that I was a loyal customer and would appreciate they remedy thr problem, was rudely hung up on. This is just greedflation amd pure dishonesty. They have lost my business and I will be reporting thrm to Uber Eats too. Do not support this dishonest and unprincipled establishment.
