Super expensive cake was also super - super sweet. None of the guest Could eat more than a bite. Everyone complained its double the regular sugar . Not worth it at all.

RED VELVET - top tier. Famous flavor for a reason. I have tried multiple red velvet from other bakeries, nothing have matched JCB's so far. I LOVE the cupcake and cake versions of red velvet (5/5); the jar version (4/5) can be quite dry when cool, so you have to warm it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds and it will be good as new, or wait to drop to room temp.

To-go-cakes are always a life saver for last minute cake needs. Very far from store bought ones with regards to flavor & consistency. Very moist & the sweetness level is tolerable (4/5). Def reco the chocolate and RV flavors.

Rocher brownie - THE BEST. I have no words. My husband and I always gift this to friends and they will not share it with others. Basically just consume by themselves. One friend said it is dangerously addicting. I agree to be honest. (5/5)

Lastly, a new item in their menu: CHOCOLATE KNAFEH FUDGE BAR!!!! I am not sure if this would be a permanent item but get it while they still offer it. Sometimes, they do preorders for this, or have some in-store for a limited quantity. The kataifi/knafeh layer is crunchy even after 2-3 days in the fridge. The sweetness is perfect (in my opinion). The fudge is spot on! Sometimes, I would stare blankly and think of it because it is so d*mn good. Nothing like I've ever tasted. The best! (1000000000/10)

Parking: Both Cloverdale and Surrey locations have plenty of parking spaces within the area.

Kid-friendliness: My kid loves the Cloverdale branch because of the cute decors.

I have ordered cakes and cupcakes from Just Cakes for a few years. Everything is always absolutely and delicious. The gluten free cakes are the best I have ever had! Most recently I placed an order for my son’s birthday, cupcakes & a cake, I made a couple mistakes on the ordering sheet and one in particular was the date I needed it. I didn’t realize until the night before and immediately emailed panicking & letting them know, I received an email back almost right away that they would still make the order happen in time. I was so grateful for them going above and beyond for my order even though it was my mistake. Thank you so much for making our special occasions yummy & beautiful!

Great service from the staff always polite, baked goods are always tasty although a tad bit on the sweeter side however it's a bakery so nothing out of the norm. I pick up too good to go bags from both locations occasionally , and do stop by to purchase items here and there. I reccomend giving it a try!

I wanted to gift my fiancé a birthday cake, but it was a bit challenging since I was sitting overseas. With Just Cakes, it was a piece of cake ?. Browsing the menu options was easy, and the prices were affordable. ?

I chose a chocolate cake ? that serves 5-6 people. Cake was delicious and everyone who celebrated loved it

It's really convenient that they accept credit cards ? from different countries, ? which can be a hassle with other places.

I had to change the delivery address at the last minute, and they accommodated the request without any issues. ??They were very polite throughout the process. The cake was delivered to my fiancé at the new address on time. ????

On May 25th we had a party for our daughter who graduated from UBC Law School. We ordered two cakes from Just Cakes on of them was a gluten free cake for some of our guest. I could not tell the difference between the two they were both moist and most delicious. The decorations were beautiful our guest was most impress with the beauty of the cakes. Thank you Just Cakes we will certainly be coming your way for our future celebrations.

My wife and I tried many cakes from various bakeries trying to find which we would use for our wedding cake. This place won, and it wasn't even close. They gave us samples of each cake flavor in a small jar and we settled on the red velvet.

It arrived exactly at the delivery time, and the guests loved it. I could literally eat this stuff all day. Plus look at these photos, the thing was beautiful.

I’m so glad there’s a bakery like this in Cloverdale! Every pastry I’ve tried from here has been seriously amazing :) It’s my favourite spot to come for something sweet.
