Kami Strawberry Hill Japanese Restaurant

Disappointed! Got the Tempura Yam Roll and the Exotic Fresh Mango Cherry Roll. The mango roll cost $16 and came with only 5 pieces — a shockingly small amount for the price.
On top of that, the taste was nothing premium. It was basic, ordinary, and forgettable. For that kind of money, you expect either great flavour or decent portions. Kami delivered neither.
Many other sushi spots offer better taste and much fairer portions. Would not recommend and won’t be ordering again.

Absolutely loved Kami Japanese Restaurant at Strawberry Hill!

Kami is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. I tried their sushi rolls and tempura, both were perfectly made and bursting with taste. The portions are a bit less as compared to other Japanese restaurants.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out.

If you’re in the Strawberry Hill area and craving Japanese cuisine, Kami is a must-visit! 🍣✨

Owner was screaming at a group of customers, seems like a minor miscommunication issue that was blown up. Witnessed first time here and won't be back, not something I want to expose the kiddos to. It's never right to raise your voice to the point where it threatens the patrons sense of security. We left shortly after as we lost our appetites.

Terrible business . Today I Tried to sit down and share a nice meal with my husband . we weren’t too hungry and just wanted something light. Server approached us and told us that we’re not allowed to share meals and each person must order individually. This place is a joke ridiculous.

This place is a joke. Way better sushi restaurants just down the street like sushi Wara and Akira Sushi in the plaza over. Save your money!!

I eat sushi at least once a week, I’ve been to nearly every sushi restaurant on 120th, and I can confidently say that this is the best one. The quality is great, service is impeccable, and the staff is super friendly.

Good food although they let us wait for 50 minutes JUST TO ORDER unbelievable I’m never coming back here

Told the server that i was gonna eat dine in but i’m just gonna pay upfront because im on a rush. You know quick bites. Then when i came back from the washroom it was pack as a to go. So i still decided to eat in the restaurant because im so hungry. And she pass me back and forth withouth accommodating me. She didnt even offer a drink to the single customer they have (me) and when i try to get her attention she was acting busy on a dead restaurant. So i ended up getting my own water in their bar (close to their garbage) and she got upset and screaming. She told me i should’ve ask her. Im a part of this industry to and i know for a fact that drinks are offered not ask. That’s all for me.

Great Sushi Place, in my opinion one of the best in the area. We’ve tried a few and this is quite good in terms of food quality and the overall dining experience.

Worst customer service ever.
Never recommend this location for anything even not for pickups, dine ins and third party pickups
