This restaurant is fairly small, but the food, service and atmosphere is excellent. They also sell very tasty Indian sweets.

Best samosas I’ve ever had. They make it fresh once you order and comes with delicious chutney. I also had butter chicken, so flavorful. Very good reasonable prices too

A Masterclass in Overcharging and Stale Sweets
I've been to Kesari a few times now, and if there's one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: avoid this place unless you enjoy being ripped off and served stale food.
To put it bluntly, this restaurant is a thief in disguise. Their pricing strategy is intentionally misleading. Sweets are supposedly sold by the pound, but if you buy them per piece, you’ll be charged way more than they’re worth. No transparency, no honesty.
For example:
Motichoor Laddoo – 2 pieces for $3
Modak – 2 pieces for $3
Now do the math. Laddoos are priced at $18/lb and Modaks at $15/lb, yet per piece pricing is jacked up with zero explanation. It’s nothing short of a scam.
But it doesn’t end there. Freshness? Forget about it. I’ve been burned four times, sweets were clearly old, stale, and tasted awful. When I asked the staff, I got vague, dismissive responses. If you're still willing to risk it, always ask if what you’re buying is fresh, though don't expect a straight answer.
Bottom line: I try to avoid this place unless I have absolutely no other option. There are far better Indian spots around that don’t treat customers like walking wallets. Kesari, clean up your act, this level of disrespect to both food and customers is embarrassing.

First time trying out this restaurant in White Rock & I'm impressed on their place. Got a nice ambiance once you enter. Their staff are very friendly. We ordered Samosas, veggie & chicken, & they were good. Will have the butter chicken for dinner tonight & some sweets, (forgot what it's called lol!)

I visited Kesari indian sweets and eats last Saturday and had an amazing experience. Goat 🐐 biryani was so good, I especially want to give credit to Simran, who was truly the best server I’ve ever met she treated us with so much warmth and professionalism, making us feel completely at home. Her attention to detail, friendly attitude, and genuine care made our dining experience unforgettable. Thank you, Simran for making our visit so special..!

We took a friend from Calgary there. We ordered aloo and mooli paratha. The aloo ones were ok but the muli ones were totally tasteless. Very dissapointed.

We have been ordering from Kesari since last 2-3 years and never had problem with quality. But since last 3-4 times we had to make complaints. Their sweets are stale. We actually returned back to them. It was maal puda. It was in such a bad condition that someone could have had food poisoning. It had rotten smell. Yesterday, we order Besan barfi and that tasted many days old. Today we ordered Amritsari kulcha and it is also not freshly made. You can tell that it was fired again. Very disappointing. Few times recent experience was bad and now we decided not even to try them again.
