Kokoro Japanese Ramen House - Surrey

Quiet busy when we visited today but regardless, the food is amazing! we ordered tomato bliss is it was SOO GOOOOD!! the menu has recently changed and too bad the vegetable ramen was taken off. Less mazesoba but chicken option for ramen is available now which is good. Amazing service too! friendly server who took his time to explain the changes and take our order! will definately come back sooooon!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I've recently went to Japan and loved their food there. So I was looking for a place that's genuine and hopefully close to the taste. Kokoro did NOT disappoint! I loveeee it and would definitely go again!

I had best ramen in this place and their Katsu is very crispy and juicy. So taste. I really like it, also their service is excellent and tried the ice cream which is the best ice cream I had in Vancouver. Absolutely gonna back to try another dishes.

Absolutely delicious. Super friendly staff. Unique ordering system I see more restaurants using. Order from the table on a tablet and table runners bring you your food and drinks.

The food is not near any of the other locations in Burnaby and Vancouver unfortunately. Would not eat at this location again.

My husband and i are new to this chain and are strictly vegetarian. We ordered veggie ramen and loved ittttt! salute to the server that informed us about the adegashi tofu is not vegetarian and he ensured to remove non-vegan things in it! or else idk..simple things but a big deal for us.Thank you!. Definitely coming back here again soon to try the veggie bliss.. :)

We didn’t get water until we used the tablet to ask for “Refill Water”
No one checked in on us to see if we were doing good throughout our meal; halfway through we realized that one of our mazesoba orders was supposed to be XL but they mixed that up with a different order on our table. When they came with the bill we mentioned this to our server and jokingly said our guy is still hungry- the server looked us dead in the eye and said “I gave you candy”

Idk it was just so awkward.

Our family likes this restaurant chain and have dined at them in at least 8 separate locations with more that 40 visits collectively.

We most always order the same menu items with one variable main and starter every visit. While only slight taste differences are noticeable at each location, all were generally consistent.

The Univ. Boulevard, Surrey location experience was a big deviation from the others locations we have dined at.

I love the Katsu curry rice bowl it was delicious and tasty, it's was a very big portion. The service was really kind a greeted us very kind I love this place I hope I get to go back next time!

First time dining at this place. Clean, open fresh and beautiful new space right in the heart of Surrey central. I ordered a deluxe Mazesoba. Full of flavour, great pairing of ingredients and platting. I also had a Japanese iced milk tea😋😋. Finished off the night with a tiramisu cake👌👌
I will definitely be visiting again to try all the other dishes on menu.

Late review from my last trip; food and drinks were very good, also aesthetically pleasing. Very nice ambience inside the restaurant. Would recommend.
