Love this place! The waffles are the best I've ever had - crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. We ordered the Strawberry Waffle with Chai Tea Latte and the Milou Breakfast with Belgium Chocolate Mocha.

The owner is friendly and service is quick. The atmosphere is light, bright, and charming with plants and Tintin books and decor (as the owner is from Belgium). Highly recommend dining here! Can't wait to come back!

Waffle is refreshing and unique to south surrey. I do think the caramel version might be a tad too sweet.

Coffee was not bad.

We are new immigrants from China, and my daughter attended a year of French immersion classes in Canada. As soon as she entered Leon' Cafe, she heard the staff speaking French with customers. She was very excited and tried to order strawberry waffle in French.The waffles here are very good, I’ll definitely come back to try others.

The owner was extremely rude, making it a very unpleasant experience. He was playing French songs at full volume, and when we politely asked him to lower it, he not only refused but changed to a louder song instead. Later, when he wasn’t around, I tried to reduce the volume myself, but he abruptly showed up and rudely said, "DO NOT TOUCH MY TV."

This was our last visit to this place, and I strongly recommend others to avoid it as well.

Having been to Belgium on several occasions i can say honestly this tastes authentic. The belgium chocolates are worth every penny and so good and a great gift for any chocolate lover. We appreciated the quality imported flavours it is a delightful change to the usual fast food and lack of quality available elsewhere
