The best sushi place in town! I love sushi and have tried many other restaurants in the South Surrey area, but Maguroguy offers the freshest sushi at a reasonable price. The staff are always super kind and friendly. I would definitely visit this place again.

The restaurant is big for a party group. We like the udon noodles. The fried items were ok.

Tried the tempura udon combo and it didn't disappoint! Big enough to share, great quality, lovely service and fair prices!

This is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The nigiri sushi was so fresh, the tempura was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the salad was super fresh with a delicious dressing. Everything was top quality, and the atmosphere was great too. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Not good service and food

great sushi every time, consistency in quality.
I’ve tried many sushi places but this will continue to be my go to.

We ordered via Ubereats, mostly cooked food and one favorite combo which included a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna was not fresh at all and had already spoiled. We ordered the food direct to us, so it came fairly quickly so it was likely spoiled in the kitchen. Recommend sticking to the cooked foods.

Reply: We have ordered from this restaurant many times before and have dined in. Food has been excellent previously, and it was just the one roll from yesterday that tasted funny. I tried calling into the restaurant but the call went directly to a machine. Will email direct for more details.

Update: corresponded with the restaurant. They were quick to respond and understand what happened, demonstrating their commitment to delivering quality food.

Our server was Dominic and he is just so pleasant and professional. I have come here multiple times and the food is just delicious. Totally recommend trying it out
