I enjoy driving out of my way to try different restaurants and I’m glad I visited Malaysian hut for Lunch. Chef and owner Irene was very friendly and hospitable, kind reminder for all to call in advance to reserve a table as seating is limited and some items are limited in stock. Had the roti canai which was hot, fresh, fluffy and flaky with a curry sauce that fused nicely together. Next was the chicken satay served with a peanut sauce and a side of pineapples and cucumbers. The texture was soft and tasty and quite unlike any satay I’ve had. The main was the Penang char kway teow, a rice noodle dish with beans sprouts, sliced Chinese sausages and prawns. Tis was not to my taste as it has a burnt flavour, and I got only two prawns for the whole dish even...
Had lunch here recently and really enjoyed my experience here. The owner/chef was super kind and friendly, taking time to explain some of the dishes to us and making sure everything was ok. We ordered the sarawak laksa and it was super flavourful and rich. The roti was also very crisp and fresh. Would definitely come back again!
