I am fortunate enough to live close to Mary Brown's Chicken in Clayton Heights. They have been around for a while and I have enjoyed their chicken all this while. The team there is kind and helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is always clean and the service is fast. The food is AMAZING! I highly recommend this place for its great chicken, helpful and kind staff and clean and inviting surroundings.

Quality of this location is quickly deteriorating. Portions getting smaller, I got a total of 5 tater pieces for a $4 small tater order. Orders take forever to prepare and when they arrive, it’s soggy and cold.

I bought 3 individual pieces of chicken from Mary Brown’s for $15. Two pieces were medium-sized, but the third was a really small leg piece it looked like it had polio, which was disappointing for the price I paid. I wish all the pieces were a decent size so it felt worth the cost.
Ordered take out and noticed the quality of the meat is horrible. Got the 13 piece and there was barely any meat on it. It actually looked like meat was torn off the bones and then deep fried.

Ordered on Uber at 12 am and it took them over 40 minutes to make my order. It would’ve been semi-okay if the food was at least good, but the Big Mary is the smallest thing you’ll ever seen. I didn’t even know they make chicken sandwiches that small. The bun was small, but the chicken was so small it was only 3 quarters of the bun. They also gave this small slice of pickle the size of a loonie.
Their mashed-up bowl came with 3 pieces of popcorn chicken. Do not go to this location if you want a decent meal. If you want a better meal, you don’t even have to go to a dedicated chicken place like Popeyes. Just go to McDonald’s and you’ll be better off.

I recently visited Marrybrown Chicken and was genuinely impressed! The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor — definitely a step up from the usual fast food chains. I also tried their spicy chicken burger and it had the perfect amount of heat. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was served hot and fresh.
The staff was friendly and quick to take our order, and the place was clean and welcoming. Loved the Malaysian twist on some of their menu items — a refreshing change!
Highly recommend Marrybrown if you're craving some quality fried chicken with a unique touch. Will definitely be back!
