Ordered the salmon tempura roll, its more expensive and way smaller now. Barely any salmon and mostly tempura, quite bad now. Avoid. UPDATE: in response to owners, I ordered the roll several times last year, and once a few weeks ago. It has changed a lot now, much worse. They're way smaller and there's barely any salmon in there. I never said it was too expensive in general, it's too expensive for what you get now, which is no salmon.

Great food, great service. It was really busy the day we dined in. We came with a group of 14 including children. Sean, the sushi chef and owner was kind and his server brought out the food in a reasonable time. Delicious! š¤¤ I forgot to take photos of the food! Next time...

I would have rated this place 3 stars if they hadnāt made me wait 45 minutes for a pickup order, especially when the restaurant wasnāt even busy.
Honestly, the food feels overrated. The oshi sushi had rice that kept falling apart, and the unagi don tasted nothing fancy, like any basic frozen unagi you find in Asian supermarkets. At $23, itās way overpriced for a bowl like that. Overall, the sushi was just average, and nothing really stood out.
I miss the old sushi Zen!

Easily one of my favourite sushi restaurants to eat at and would highly recommend it to anyone. My partner and I regularly come here often. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always provide great service.
My favourites are the explosion roll and ebi oishi. I almost always get them when I come here. So grateful this exists in Surrey.

Every time I visit my family, I make it a point to stop by this cozy, family-owned Japanese restaurantāno matter that itās 45 minutes away. The food is consistently amazing, full of authentic flavor and made with care. From the freshest sashimi to their perfectly crisp tempura, everything is top-notch. You can truly taste the love they put into every dish. And the best part? The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get. Itās one of those rare spots that feels like home. Amazing environment, local guildford gem, even though itās on the 108ave side of guildford, I would say itās probably the guildford communities first ever ELITE caliber of Sushi.
Would definitely recommend this spot, make sure to try their Ebi Oshi which is my personal favorite. Thanks again to head chef Sean and the amazing staff he has to be able to consistently deliver high standards is the name of the game. Trust me go check them out.

Called to place an order for pick for 2 combos and they would not accept my order on the phone. They said you can only order through Uber and that they don't take orders over the phone, what a bunch of nonsense.... It's sushi, which means there are dozens of restaurants in every area in BC. The fact they are refusing my order when I want to pay money for my dinner is beyond ridiculous! March 19/25 owner replies below and my response is: nice try... I know what I said and what is asked for and I was refused a pick up order, they clearly said Uber only!
