Easily one of my favourite sushi restaurants to eat at and would highly recommend it to anyone. My partner and I regularly come here often. The staff here are incredibly friendly and always provide great service.
My favourites are the explosion roll and ebi oishi. I almost always get them when I come here. So grateful this exists in Surrey.

Every time I visit my family, I make it a point to stop by this cozy, family-owned Japanese restaurant—no matter that it’s 45 minutes away. The food is consistently amazing, full of authentic flavor and made with care. From the freshest sashimi to their perfectly crisp tempura, everything is top-notch. You can truly taste the love they put into every dish. And the best part? The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you get. It’s one of those rare spots that feels like home. Highly recommend!

Amazing environment, local guildford gem, even though it’s on the 108ave side of guildford, I would say it’s probably the guildford communities first ever ELITE caliber of Sushi.
Would definitely recommend this spot, make sure to try their Ebi Oshi which is my personal favorite. Thanks again to head chef Sean and the amazing staff he has to be able to consistently deliver high standards is the name of the game. Trust me go check them out.

Called to place an order for pick for 2 combos and they would not accept my order on the phone. They said you can only order through Uber and that they don't take orders over the phone, what a bunch of nonsense.... It's sushi, which means there are dozens of restaurants in every area in BC. The fact they are refusing my order when I want to pay money for my dinner is beyond ridiculous! March 19/25 owner replies below and my response is: nice try... I know what I said and what is asked for and I was refused a pick up order, they clearly said Uber only!

One of the best lunch special deals in Metro Vancouver. $15.99 for any 3 items from the lunch menu special plus miso soup (eg. Salman nigiri - 3 pieces, alaska roll 6 pieces and pan fried gyoza 6 pieces are my go to. My friend gets 9 pieces of Salman nigiri - where can you get 9 pieces of nigiri for $15.99? They even have an app to get discounts on top of this.
Ordered tray B and scallop roll via uber eats. I was amazed by the quality of rolls. Freshly made rolls with perfectly cooked rice and fresh ingredients. I found these rolls much better than most sushi restaurants in vancouver. Forgot to take photo as we inhaled the rolls. Would definitely recommend this local sushi spot for good quality rolls. Love it! Scallops are real nice here :)

I did the BOGO on Ubereats. I got 2 crispy rolls for the price of 1, however, they weren’t both for me. They put both rolls (16 pieces) in 1 container with 1 small portion of wasabi, barely enough for 1 roll. And 1 chopsticks. Stop being cheap and separate the orders per container and distribute the appropriate wasabi portions per order.

A close friend of mine introduced me to Mauna sushi, and I'm so glad she did! The owner is very nice, and his dishes are such great quality. The price is also great for the quality of food. I highly recommend this sushi restaurant!
