Great "hole-in-the-wall" type of restaurant run by a mom and pop.Food prices are quite cheap with most dishes under 20 dollars. Special highlights are the Laksa Penang if you love very fishy laksas. And Char Kwey Teow.Dietary restrictions: HalalParking: Behind restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Street level

The food was sooooo good, I’ve ate at several Malaysian restaurants and this one was definitely the best. I’ve heard around from Malaysians that this place was the most authentic so I gave it a try. The Chicken Satay was sooo good I recommend 10000%. The staff was also super kind and even offered me a space to pray after I broke my fast, they were very kind people and attentive to us as customers!!

Very disappointing! Chicken was fine but I didn't expected to get couple of bones with little meat on it and mango salad had absolutely no mango in it, just some chopped carrots some other stuff and gross amount of garlic. Not worth the money!!!

Mek's made my weekend lunch amazing with Kempung Fried rice and beef rendung. OMG, The beef is something I'd love to eat again and again! It's close to a Bengali dish called Mejbani beef, but less spicy/hot. So obviously Beef rendang got 5/5. For the Kempung Fried rice, one shouldn't try if they don't like the flavour of dried fish, here anchovies. We finished lunch with Malaysian tea- Teh Terik. Tea had a different flavor, taste ok. Looking forward to next visit to try rest of the items on the menu, specially the Roti canai, chicken satay and Fish items.Caution: it's an old couple run family business, small place with cozy seating arrangement. Serving food takes time, ours took around 30/35 mins). Also, weekend lunch time is very busy, tough to get a table. So pls have patience and enough time to enjoy the food.

The best Malaysian restaurant in Canada! Their Laksa is simply divine. I've had laksa from various places, and theirs is absolutely the best. Oh, and you must try their chicken rice, tomyum, and fried rice - they are all incredibly delicious!
What a food experience the fried rice took me back to malaysia. The food is one of the best hidden gems in Surrey. Two elderly couple runs the whole cooking and my goodness the taste was 10/10. Would definitely recommend every item in the menu but my favorite was the Tom yum fried

This is a small family restaurant run by a Malay couples which has been around since 2013 (if I’m not mistaken chatting with the owners), but yet I just discovered it last week and decided to give it a try during my week off. We ordered Laksa and Nasi Lemak only because just two of us otherwise I would have ordered more food to try out. Both dishes are very delicious and authentic, I have tried many Malaysian restaurants and I can say this is probably the most authentic Malaysian food I have ever have in town. When i entered the restaurant, the environment reminds me of small family restaurant back in Malaysia, there is no waiters just the owners themselves, don’t expect 5 star environment and service here, but if you come for the food you won’t be disappointed here. I’d highly recommend to anyone who crave for authentic Malaysian food in vancouver.
