Menchies Frozen Yogurt

I celebrated my daughter's 6th birthday Saturday morning. I just did nothing..everything was organized and decorated by them!! It was an amazing experience with lots of fun and laughter! The kids really enjoyed it and the manager and staff were so cool.. Highly recommended!!

Worst service ever. Came to buy gift cards twice with no success. Was told it’s cash only and only managers can sell gift cards for some reason. No idea when manager would be in next and was told to email details and the gift card would be ready sometime later. Milk shakes were also not shakes more just liquid milk. Find another Menchies as this location has really gone down hill.

Don’t waste your money here for a birthday party! We had one of our daughter’s 6th birthday party here 2 years ago and it was very well organized, fun, and well-planned, so we decided to do it again for our other daughter. It has then changed owners which I found out on the day of the party which is why the service was poor and I basically had to lead the party. I had to pay a “deposit” ahead of time which I thought would be put towards the final total on the day of the party. That’s what deposit means. That was not the case as it was a one-time fee of $99 + 5% tax = $103.95 for just booking/securing the spot. It’s also sketchy how they absorbed the tax in the subtotal with the tax being 0% (see receipt).

The emails leading to the party were responded to in an untimely manner by the owner, Raj to the point that I had to call the store to get answers. Lydia (who was leading the party) also did not know what was going on and so we helped each out with answering each other’s questions. That was already not a good start.

On the day of the party, the owner leisurely arrives with his entourage 9 minutes late while Lydia, myself, and the kids were waiting around. The kids were kept busy with coloring ripped out pages of a coloring book. Lydia did not know where he kept the T-shirts for coloring so we had to wait for him to arrive. He tells me the employee who normally works on birthday parties called in sick but we all know that was not the case.

The party lacked fun and excitement, and at one point, I caught a child saying “I’m bored”. Thank goodness, the mascot was the highlight for the kids and that kept them busy for awhile - phew! The birthday girl did not even get any Menchie’s merch and I had to ask for it when giving my feedback to the owner. The goodie bag was embarrassing and I wished I brought my own to give out. The birthday party from 2 years ago used to be so personalized and had structure with lively employees. Raj also took a photo from his instax camera of the kids without my consent and for him to keep and probably post up on the board. I was never given one like how it was supposed to be included in my package.

The private party was 1.5 hours before the store opened. There was no sign on the door saying that a private event was going on so people just walked in which I had to stop. When a couple came in 7 minutes before my party ended, the owner just welcomed them in as they wanted to get some fro-yo. Although, they did not disturb us, it is a private party after all.

Spend your money at Morgan Play Centre across the street instead. After telling the owner that I was disappointed with the party, he appeared surprised. I did not feel valued at all.

It’s clean and well stocked here. The staff are nice and friendly. I like that there is a TV and colouring and stickers for the kids and so on. However, the consistency of the yogurt is off every time I am here. It’s a little icy or milky and watered down rather than creamy texture. Maybe that is all frozen yogurt in general, I haven’t had much of it to compare it to, but it’s just rather bland or meh.

Just explored this place at Morgan crossing. Kieran served me very well. He made sure that the experience is awesome. There are varieties of things to try from shakes to yogurt. I ordered Kit Kat shake which was really good. They have a plenty of seating and clean space to enjoy. Overall, good experience.

Kieran at Menchie’s provided outstanding customer service—super friendly, patient, and welcoming. He made the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely deserves 5 stars for going above and beyond!😄

I’ve been a loyal Menchie’s customer for years, but after my recent experience at this location, I won’t be returning.

I visited with my son to enjoy some frozen yogurt. We asked for sample cups and were given two. We wanted to try a few flavors (they didn’t have many available to begin with), but when I asked to try another, the staff member handed us two more samples — again, one for each of us.
This was confusing and frustrating. He didn’t want us to reuse cups (for hygiene, I assume), but also refused to give us additional clean ones. Then he said, “I’ll give you one last one,” and spoke to us in a very condescending tone, as if we were children who needed to be put in our place. It felt like he was irritated that we were even there, or that we weren’t the kind of customers he liked…Perhaps because we were a bit more selective and not blindly agreeable.

His attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. We felt unwelcome and embarrassed, even though we were respectful and simply sampling what little was available. To top it off, the flavors we tried were watery and lacked taste, nothing like what we used to love at Menchie’s.

We left without buying anything. It’s unfortunate, because I’ve had an account with Menchie’s for years and used to recommend it. This location, however, left a terrible impression. Between the poor customer service and the declining quality, I won’t be coming back.

Awful!! No selection and so-called chocolate flavor was just watery. I'll stick to DQ from now on!

Nobody there to take order until I bang on door. Waffle cone stale as heck. 25 bucks for 2 cups, not impressed. Menchies you gnna do something about this? Or we stay away I guess.

Came here today (June 2025) & it was not good. In previous years the quality was consistent in taste, options and value. The last time we visited this location was 2024 summer. Management seems to have changed since last summer and now it's no where near as good anymore. The frozen yogurt flavors are questionable in taste & quality (we had stomach aches after). Most importantly the toppings bar is pretty sad. Our group didnt even want to stay to eat in cause the tables/chairs were messy. It was dead silent in the store (they used to play music). And the place was so stuffy inside, felt like they lacked proper A/C. Nothing exciting about this location anymore.

Range not great

The frozen yogurt is terrible. The texture is awful, the flavours are phony, it is sickly sweet, and the price is ridiculous.

I really like the staff service, the guy working(jag) is very humble and patient as I don't know much about the flavor he helped me with everything and let me taste and decide from all their products...

Nice location

Service was spectacular and place was clean. All stores need a customer service girl like Bella. My family and I will see you soon Bella well done..
