The owner at Minh Cafe is honestly such a gem. He’s super passionate about doing things right and never takes shortcuts. The banh mi bread is made in house and you can really taste the difference. The Kouign-amann is absolutely delicious, not too sweet, with beautiful caramelization and layers that make it such an amazing pastry. The coffee is just as special since the beans come from the owner’s family farm in Vietnam, and the robusta blend made the best egg coffee I’ve ever had. It was perfectly balanced and the egg custard was smooth, light, and not too sweet. You can tell the owner truly cares about quality and doing things the proper way, which is so rare these days.

I visited this location with my friend. The lemongrass chicken banh mi sandwiches are unmatched! It all tasted very fresh and healthy. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the area for quality sandwiches.

Owner, Tim, came by and talked to us and asked how everything was. He went to everyone at his establishment and talked to everyone. What a nice personal touch. 👏👍🙌
My Banh Mi Beef Sate was huge and amazingly tasty. The bun was sooo soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Never had a Banh Mi bun like this before.
The Kouign-amann is a dessert you definitely need to try. 😋😋😋 Imagine a Yorkshire Pudding with a Crème Brûlée topping. That’s about the only way I can describe it.
I also went with a Vietnamese Salted Coffee instead of my traditional Vietnamese Ice Coffee. The drink was great after Tim showed me the proper way of drinking it. 😂🤣
I stuck a straw into it and started stirring my mixture. Tim came by and took the straw out and said that’s not the way to drink it. You need to drink it without a straw so you can get a little bit of the salt mixture topping with your coffee. 👍💪
This will be my new go to Banh Mi and Ice Coffee in central Surrey. Thanks for the hospitality, Tim.

This is literally the best Banh mi shop in town, their ingredients are fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced. I have now come back 3 times and can say the pork Brucheta is my favorite, the smoked salmon amazing their Cafe Suda is made with coffee beans farmed on the family owned and operated farm in Vietnam. Tim is very passionate about his work and let me tell you the bread! Omg! They make their own bread and it is the foundation to a great banh mi. They have these to die for kouign amann you can't have just one. They are in the King George hub, nesttled between subway and sushi street. They are easy to miss but once you find them you will come back.

My go to banh mi now. Very delicious, try the lemongrass chicken, i really love it!, lots of delicious banh mi to try! Freshly baked banh mi here and one of the best in town! Ask for minh and tell him Lambo sent you here! He will make it extra special!

Heard good things and saw this place had really good reviews so I came to try some sandwiches. I ordered a beef satay which was $12, a bit expensive imo…the baguette was nice but the beef was really tough to chew so it was very difficult to eat. The taste was ok, I had high expectations since the reviews are so good but I probably wouldn’t come back again.

Unbelievable food and best customer service I've ever experienced anywhere. The owner is so passionate about his food and it shows in every dish. The ice coffees are delicious (i got an iced light roast egg coffee, my husband got a dark roast viet iced coffee). We really enjoyed the banh mi, they are absolutely stacked full. Could not recommend this place enough. We also loved the scottish/French dessert.
