We are relatively new to the area and have already identified this place as our favourite for dine in or take out sushi.After eating there just once, Amy (our server) remembered what we had ordered! We find Amy to be very quick to assist us, and to gauge whether we need a top up of tea; in addition, she always greets us with a smile and never rushes us at the end of a meal.The food is very fresh, and the prices are reasonable. Someone mentioned that they are generous with the pickled ginger and we concur.Eating here is a real treat and we will continue to recommend both Amy and this lovely restaurant!

Our new favorite! Have lived in South Surrey for 10+ years and never heard of it been here until this year. We have been missing out on the tastiest and freshest sushi! Their prices are very reasonable and love that they use sockeye salmon. We order here at least once a month and will continue coming here.

I have been ordering takeout here the past 7yrs and it's still the best in south Surrey! Every time I order from a different place I regret not ordering Momotaro! My go to's are dynamite, crispy roll, Momo special roll and their Oshi. The quality and price are not beat.

The owner was very unfriendly. I arrived one of the first customers, to the opening, to have breakfast. I sat down by the window, but they began to kick me out to another table and shout that now there might be a chance that other customers could come and suddenly there will be 6 people and I can’t sit where I want, but I have to be shown a place. However, the restaurant was empty. Besides me, there was only 1 customer in the restaurant. And a lot of empty tables. They refused to serve me, although I said that I would quickly eat and leave and that I wanted to sit by the window. The owner woman started yelling at me and the man brought me a sign saying that I should sit where they said, and not choose a free and comfortable seat for me. There was no sign on any table that the table had a reserve. The behavior was extremely unfriendly and aggressive. I left from there.
