Prices for their famous steamed buns keep going up, now $4.25 each. Getting too pricey when you can get the same steamed buns at a cheaper price from Mei Le bakery in Coquitlam.

Best siopao in Surrey!

New Town Bakery owners you have the BEST freshly baked PINEAPPLE BUNS in the province. But, could you please bake more pineapple buns at the Surrey location! When I want to buy 12 I can only buy 6 when I want to buy 6 I can only buy 5. Double up your pineapple buns please!!

Siopao is our favorite from this bakery (pork asado and red bean). Always baked fresh and yummy. They only accept cash as payment.

I will say that they’re baked items are decent. However, every time I walk in there, I’m treated quite rudely. I went in last weekend and waited in line to order. The lady purposely avoided me and helped the next person behind me who was Asian. Clearly, this is a racist establishment. How sad.

delicious, and this place is always bustling - a testament to its popularity, especially for its
famous Siopao, a favorite among Filipino food lovers. Be prepared for a line, but it's well worth the wait!

NEVER open when it says it is. They need to fix their hours. Visited them twice now and their door and online says they open at 10am and they’re clearly not.

My first time here, I bought some chicken, bbq pork and deluxe chicken steamed buns. Brought me back to my childhood, the taste in the chicken steamed bun is sooo good just like the one I had 20 plus years ago and the bun dough is soft and fluffy yet not sticking to your gum gooey. Definitely will go back and get some frozen to go next time. Thumbs up!

Always goog, just way too greasyOil not hot enough when they cram all those yummy prawn turnovers into and hold the grease, a box of 6 I got home with 1/4 cup oil in my saddle bag ?OMGosh!

This cashier in the front, she's been there for decades. Today May 4th 2024 I ordered a chicken de luxe, only to get home and find out she gave me asado. Too disappointing that I drove there only to be treated like s++t, very disrespectful entitled cashier every single time i go which is not often since I leave far from Surrey and messed up with my food order.
