I asked her to give me some chutney with samosa she said $2 for it, but the price for smaosa is 1.50 😂. At least treat your customers nicely because they are not idiot. And as you can see the picture the smaosa is so small as per the price list. The non veg smaosa at d plus is $1.50. Nothing special first time i tried it and not recommended to anyone.

Bought sweets on Diwali, kalakand. That’s smell so weird seems like that’s mixed with some awfully smelly stuff. Please check before packing.

We bought gulab jamun during Diwali and felt quite misled with the pricing. Normally, gulab jamun is around $10 per pound, but we ended up paying $18 per pound — almost double.
When we asked about the cost, the staff said it’s based on box weight, not just the sweets. But when we first walked in, they told us “the box is free.” That’s very misleading. Including the box in the total weight (especially during Diwali when things are busy) means customers are unknowingly paying extra — and these aren’t the usual light, plain boxes.
Normally they use simple, light boxes and it's not a bigdeal — but this time it felt like they took advantage of the rush and confusion.
The quality of the sweets was okay, not great — definitely not worth $18/lb.
Customers deserve transparency, especially during busy times like Diwali. Hopefully, the store improves how they communicate pricing in the future.

I bought some sweets from this store, and when I got home and tried them, they tasted more like a sugar brick than proper sweets. Since it’s a community business and I respect that, I decided to go back and share my honest feedback so they could improve.
I politely told the front desk that I wasn’t asking for a refund — just letting them know the sweets weren’t good and that it was my first purchase. Her response was, “That’s the way we make it. If you don’t like it, there’s nothing we can do.”
I understand everyone has different tastes, but ignoring a polite customer’s feedback is not good service. When I asked her to throw the sweets away, she told me to use the garbage bin myself. I did — and a few people saw and walked out with me.
They didn’t just lose a customer that day; they chose arrogance over service. I truly hope they improve their customer service. I’m not surprised their rating is 2.5.

It was my first time to try fish pakora and I was very disappointed. The food was very very salty, I did not even finish my first piece.

Very disappointed with the service. I placed my order at 3:57 PM and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Instead, I waited almost 50 minutes. The staff seemed careless and didn’t value my time. Definitely not coming back.
