Small cozy place with nice service and fresh food, maybe Miso should be a bit less salty
We ordered salmon and tuna sashimi, a California set, chicken wudon, fried prawns, unagi for 4 persons and it was too much for us

The new spot for great sushi in South Surrey. Dining in is super cozy and quiet, but beware the place is small, only 4 tables and a bar. Some of the finest presentation of sushi south of the river.
I’ve never had a simple Agedashi Tofu with such a tasteful seaweed garnish and presentation before. Sunset roll has a perfect texture and the Sweetheart roll was also great.

This has become our new favourite sushi place! We have been here several times and always have a great experience. The food is delicious and the portion size is generous. Our go-to order is the sweetheart roll, the pink Philadelphia roll, and the tuna maki. Highly recommend Nice Sushi!

Generous portions on the sashimi compared to other places. Great presentation with the special rolls.

We had an absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant for multiple reasons and were extremely disappointed with the food, cleanliness of the restaurant, and the service. We walked in at about 6:30 and there was one large table with 8-10 people and one other small table. The bar was dirty with dishes and plates. We were seated after it was cleared. Ordered our food and watched the sushi chef make the rolls. The nori was being pulled from a DUSTY can and the counter was noticeably dirty. My partner was given a can of coke with and dirty, cloudy plastic cup with no ice or anything. Water had a strange taste to it.SOME of our food arrived: we ordered 2x salmon roll, 6pc prawn tempura, miso soup, and a chicken teriyaki don. The prawns had a fishy odour/taste and were soggy. The sauce had an off-putting taste that was sour and it was COLD. The salmon roll was again, foul and fishy. I actually could not eat the second order because I found myself gagging/so off-put by the first one. Miso was OK. As for the chicken teriyaki don, our server forgot to put the order into the kitchen - so I was 100% done with my meal and my partner had NO FOOD. We asked for the teriyaki for takeout and promptly left, after sitting there and waiting a full hour. Teriyaki itself was not very good - the chicken was extremely dry and seemed like it had been reheated multiple times. The server offered to give us 10% off but I think she should have comp'ed the whole meal. TBH I would still like a refund for my inedible meal.Overall, we have no clue how this place has 4.8 on Google. This is by far the worst sushi restaurant we've been to in SS/WR and we would warn people not to come here at all. We were so excited to try out a restaurant just walking distance from our house, but we were sorely mistaken for coming here.

The best sushi in South Surrey! We’ve ordered from here a bunch of times and their portions are large and great value (also taste great). They have a really cozy and homey vibe indoors.

It's always a delight to stumble upon a hidden gem of a restaurant, especially when the ambiance and food both contribute to a memorable dining experience. The personal touch of the owner greeting you with a pleasant smile adds to the charm of the place. The California roll exceeded my expectations, and the sashimi was a true highlight. The simplicity and quality of the food perfectly matched the restaurant's name, 'Nice Sushi'.
