Nice Sushi

Nice Sushi is one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. The portions are very generous! Every time I come here, I leave completely full (and happily so!). The fish is fresh, the rolls are well made, and you truly get great value for what you pay.
What really sets this place apart is the warm and thoughtful service. The staff are always friendly and care about their customers. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in.
I also really appreciate how Nice Sushi actively supports the local community, including sponsoring events and activities for nearby elementary schools. It means a lot to see a local business giving back and supporting families and kids in the neighborhood.
Great food, great people, and a big heart for the community. I keep coming back, and I’ll definitely continue recommending Nice Sushi to friends and family!

Not so nice sushi... Rolls too big. Yam undercooked couldn’t really eat. Service - it took fairly long to come out or for them to come around and check on us. Not overly impressed. Good but not good enough to come back

Small and very cute sushi place with an amazing atmosphere. The service was incredible—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The crazy salmon roll was honestly the best I’ve had in BC. All the rolls were incredibly fresh and tasty, and the rice was perfectly soft and flavorful. Such a great spot overall—I’ll definitely be coming back.

I really loved the Dynamic roll here! The fried shrimp inside was so crispy and delicious, giving it a perfect crunch. The fish roe on top was super fresh and added great flavor. I totally forgot to take a picture, but it was so good that I still wanted to leave a review. Highly recommend this roll — it’s definitely one of my favorites!

Nice Sushi is such a hidden gem! Tucked away but absolutely worth finding — the quality and freshness of the sushi really surprised me. The portions are generous, presentation is great, and the prices are almost unbeatable for the value you get. You can tell they put care into every dish, and it feels like one of those local spots you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious sushi without the steep price tag.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt really misled by the 4.8 stars on Google. Unfortunately, my experience at Nice Sushi was disappointing. The water had a strange taste, the edamame and spring rolls seemed microwaved, and overall the food just wasn’t enjoyable or worth the money. I was expecting something fresh and high quality based on the reviews, but it simply didn’t deliver. Very underwhelming, especially given the high rating.

First time trying this spot while walking around the neighborhood, and I’m glad I did! The Dynamite Roll was so good..less rice, more stuffing, and rolled perfectly. I’ll definitely be back!

Salmons avocado sushi yes, squid YES, spicy scallop roll (I didn’t like the bbq sauce on top it would be better without), - overall really fresh fish tasted good. Enjoyed the rice to fish ratio.
