bad quality sushi, didn't taste fresh or even good for the matter
Been here a few times for all you can eat.food is over cooked and over sauced.first order came quick. Chicken and beef have been pre cooked. It was like leather.second time we ordered took half hour.the we out our final order in.it took an hour. Ridiculous, all you can eat sushi should not take 2 hours. They do that purposely, when you fill out your second. Sheet, so you sit there and get full. We repeatedly asked, when is our food coming up? They kept on saying kitchen is busy. I walked by the kitchen. Where the washroom was? They were not busy. This is horrible, drawing customers in
Advertising all you can eat. This restaurant should be called all. You can wait if you want to eat. It was horrible. My husband was literally falling asleep. 2 hours, are you kidding me? A lot of the food we received was overdressed. With sauce like filler. All the rolls we ordered, where's Bryce? With a speck of filling. When they brought our hour last order two hours later, we rejected it because it was 2 hours later. We were full. Then I see the waitress talking to the manager about us. Seriously. Never go back there again. Horrible experience. Keep it in mind when you first arrive. Everything's great service is great until you order more than twice. Then they just walk right by you. Pretend you're not there.

Don’t recommend if you want all you can eat. The rice for Sushi was hot, the quality of Sashimi was not good. We found pieces of fish scales in sashimi which was very unpleasant. There is a limit for Sashimi per person and our family ordered all 80 pieces which was the max amount for us, and half of the plate had Sashimi that was smaller than my pinky finger. Rice is way more than Sashimi on sushi, and the most terrible was the squid which the size of the squid was 1/3 of the sushi rice. We ordered ice cream for dessert and found out that the portion of ice cream ordered for AYCE and the one that was ordered separately was different from the size of bowl and the portion. I’m not sure if you can order more because they took away all of our plates when we ordered ice cream. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDING, it was not a good experience.

The sashimi is fresh, however the salmon sashimi didn’t as tasty as before and I found bone in it. Prawn tempura is my all time favourite dish!
The staffs make us feel welcomed, love their service!
Recommend making a reservation, particularly in weekends.

Restaurant is on the darker side. Service was ok. At times it felt like us being there was a bother to the staff.
Food is very average. The seaweed tasted a little stale. The rice was very sticky. Nothing was above average.

Menu - Very limited lunch all you can eat. Dinner a bit better but still. Worse part is the service. No greetings, no welcoming vibes. Answers questions like you own them something. Design makes this place somehow tolerable.

The food and service here are amazing. The staff are kind and friendly. They have no issue subbing or changing how you like your food. The atmosphere is beautiful with nice cherry blossom tree!
Only thing I will critique is the cleanliness of the rest room. There are many aspects that could use attention to detail (stall doors, dusting, toilet cleanliness and broken paper holders). However this is not a deal breaker.
Thank you to the staff here at Nordel Sushi for a great dining experience!

I did not enjoy my experience here. I came to buy food with my hard earned money not to be judged.

Great inexpensive Japanese restaurant with high quality food. Informal dining, and conveniently located in North Delta

Not the best quality sushi and teriyaki but great for a quick bite!
I've always been a richmond sushi/ninkazu girl and decided to expand my ayce sushi experiences. Heard good things about this place.
At $28.95 for weekend lunch, we thought it was ok even if there is a 10 piece limit on sashimi. However, when the sashimi came, it was really disappointing. It was like a quarter sized version.
The menu is extremely limited and we ended up just eating a lot of prawn because other cheaper ayce options don't havce it. Their prawn tempura was fried well. With the limited choices we had flavor fatigue really quickly unfortunately. Their ice cream felt like breyers - like not real ice cream.
I'll continue my journey of sushi ayces.
Nordel sushi probably my third favorite sushi place in my area. The staff are always friendly and the foods great!!
I order from here (typically using skipthedishes for movie and game nights) quite a lot with my mom. The food is the best and when we do actually go, the service and atmosphere is just the greatest. I adore their salmon combo the best, along with their dynamite rolls!
EDIT: five years later, still my go to sushi place!!
It’s fantastic, when on point. Meaning everyone has there good and bad days. Bad days good takes a bit to come non existing staff and so on. But on good days good fast fresh staffs on there game and so on. all staff are friendly even when it’s a bad day. So yes I would still recommend it to anyone that’s like all you can eat.!
