The food is great but the interior needs a lot of work. I truly believe O My Tea has significant potential to be a great hangout/study restaurant in Surrey, however, the aesthetics really take away from the experience. Yes, you are eating amazing bingsoo and bubble waffle, but you are looking at a makeshift stockroom, miscellaneous items laying around, and cheap and unsanitary furniture. With that being said, I am so happy to see a bingsoo place in Surrey after snowy village closed down at guildford. The prices are very fair and you get a great amount. The milky oreo bingsoo was tasty and presentation was excellent. The bubble waffle was a yummy snack. I will definitely be returning to try out their other food options such as ramen and donburi! The menu has a very wide and diverse range of options which piques my interest. I’m excited to see if this place can improve their interior design, then it will earn 5 stars!

I was super hesitant to order due to most of the negative reviews here on google but I frequently pass this place when I take my son to his dr app just upstairs in the same building. It smells soo delightful like bubble waffles & night market street food
We ordered the buy 1, get 1 boneless chicken rice platter, with 3 spring rolls & sweet n sour sauce. Chicken is comparable to bubble worlds' salty peppery chicken nuggets but with less seasoning and grease. $21 for two platters and 2 small drinks I was hoping the squid would be the same (tentacles) but it was similar to any Chinese dimsum style squid; cut into bite size pieces. It was seasoned very well!
Bubble waffle was cold due to being packed with the cold drinks, just heated for 5 mins in air fryer and it was just as fresh.
The passion fruit tea was non customizable and I would say it was made just right to my liking. Not too sweet or bland.
Great job to whoever was working tonight!

My review is more of a warning if people want to order through UberEats.
I had ordered two bubble teas and a bubble waffle through UberEats. The restaurant accepted my order and then I get a call from someone telling me that they ran out of waffle and to cancel the order on my end.
I (naively) do so thinking that I won’t be charged. However, I was wrong and was still charged the full amount even tho THEY asked me to cancel. UberEats will not refund me and advised that if the restaurant asks us to cancel then we have to tell them to cancel in-app on their end. Or else we get charged the full amount. Shouldn’t the establishment know this? I got charged and does the restaurant still get my money? Felt scammy.
I don’t know if they do this often to customers but I just wanted to put out a PSA.

Quick and satisfied the bubbletea craving in a pinch!
Tried the bubble waffle and it lives up to expectations; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ice cream was a tad sweet for my taste but not bad if you had savoury food beforehand!

When I was searching for food nearby, I found this restaurant by reading Google Reviews. But as soon as I entered, I found that the floor and dining table were very greasy. I went with my son and the high chair was very dirty.
I ordered Japanese ramen, but it tasted more like Chinese ramen.... the service and price point were OK. But I won't come back again

Very interesting place because any business you want them to succeed but not sure who’s dropping the ball here. The floor is covered in grease, I’m no dancer but I can moonwalk here. Everything is dusty or dingy, really doesn’t exude confidence coming in here. We ordered the gyoza but it tastes old and frozen, fried in old oil. The beef udon was a 2 or 3 out of 5. We ordered the waffles and the ice cream that comes with it tastes so synthetic. This is a pass for me and my family

I asked if we could do no salt on a chicken and pineapple fried rice for my toddler and didn’t expect much, as for most restaurants it’s unavoidable due to the prepared seasoned meats and all that so I wasn’t expecting a healthy meal tonight for my kid tonight. But turns out the chef put a lot of effort into preparing our fried rice, and I feel the urge that I must come back and leave a 5 stars comment. I dont know how he did it but the meat was close to plain, as well as the pineapples too, and the rice was fried with the darken soy sauce I believe, which is much lower in sodium but kept the brownish colouring and flavour. It definitely took him longer to make this dish and I just didn’t want his effort go unnoticed. These kind of professionalism and attitude towards their food definitely make them stand out from the crowds. Thank you, will for sure come back! (Btw the eggplant and minced pork rice was really good too)

I ordered brown sugar milk tea with pearls. The amount of brown sugar it has is crazy as you can see in the picture. And the quantity of milk is so less. It taste like a lot of sugar in water. I have to throw this otherwise I will get diabetes for real.

Went in about a week ago, ordered two bubble teas for me and my friend. We got in her car and she tried to put the straw into her cup and it ended up exploding on her. The whole cup came apart. She was covered in bubble tea, she ran back in to ask for napkins. The employee who made the drink was apologetic and offered to make her a new one, then the owner came to the front and he told my friend it was her fault and she clearly wasn’t holding the cup when she put the straw in. He then proceeded to back track the previous offer made by the employee and my friend paid for another bubble tea. Mine also made a mess but thankfully the cup stayed intact. Bubble tea was super mediocre but the customer service by the owner is what is astonishing to me. Won’t be back.

I've noticed an improvement in the quality of food and boba. This restaurant is usually inconsistent with food quality, especially with their defrosted bobas. But the past few times I have tried this place out the food and boba was actually fresh. I ordered boba, waffles, squid, and green beans. They were out of green beans, but the rest of the food was delicious. If the restaurant continues to have an increase in food quality, and restaurant aesthetics, I will raise my rating.

Amazing place to get bubble tea and even more! The only reason it got 4 stars is because the lids are so hard to poke through that it completely ripped the container, but the staff were so nice they remade it on the house. So great place, just be careful when you're putting the straw in.
