Third visit to this lovely store. Their cod and chips are always consistently good! But today was extra special, we ordered take out and then took our two little ones for a stroll on the beach and spent more time playing than anticipated. The owner was kind enough to meet us on our way back a few steps away from the store to give us our food as he wanted us to enjoy it hot! Such a kind gesture. You have loyal customers in us Sir!

Amazing price for delicious food. fish and chips are to die for. The Owner is super nice and it's not that busy. Gordon Ramsey would be impressed. Keep it up
We brought our large dog along on our trip to White Rock so seating options were unavailable to us. We found the staff to be easygoing and efficient, but the restroom was super cramped, not good for someone with mobile issues. The 5 orders of fish and chips we ordered were prepared quickly and served hot at a lower price than could be found closer to East Beach.I'd buy here again.

We were so hungry and the food was so great, I forgot to take a photo of the fish and chips! Excellent coleslaw too. Owner is very friendly and served us outside on the patio. He even checked on us and interacted with our international students!

My partner and I ordered the 3 piece cod with chips & a full size of the calamari. When we received our food, the first thing we noticed was the remarkably small portions. Since the bill was close to $50, we were quite disappointed. There was very little food in our containers. The staff are friendly but unfortunately the food and portion size are unsatisfactory.

Super greasy fish and chips for the price I'd go elsewhere.

The most disappointing and disgusting food we ordered , we were in rush and hungry...After opening the take out bags we realize the mistake we made ...I still don't believe that people are going back after their first time eating that ,,food " .Those chips ? and that fish ( I ordered Halibut and prawns , they were disgusting . Of course we didn't eat that, just to look at them -almost send us to emergency.. ?It was on Sunday and I'm still mad ? ?.How is possible that this kind of junk continues to exist?
Amazing service on 2 separate occasions! The first time I went to Pelican rouge, my friend and I were really craving fries. Sadly, we only had change (10 and 5 cent coins). The nice man at the window still let us pay thankfully. The second time we went back it was around their closing time. The man at the window saw us outside and still asked for our orders even though It was 5 minutes after they closed. He brought us out food and even gave us a free portion of fries as they were closing and were gonna throw them out. The chicken strips were nice and hot but the fries could use a little more salt. Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend if you’re at crescent beach and are looking for something to eat.

Tried this place for the first time today, had the halibut and chips. Definitely my new favourite for fish and chips! Generous portion, and very tasty!
Excellent describes the fish and chips dinners my wife and I enjoyed tonight. We have discovered our new best restaurant for fish and chips. Chef obviously knows his business. Many thanks. We'll be back soon

Food wasn’t great and overpriced
As an avid fish and chips lover, I can easily say this is the best fish and chips place on the west coast. Generous portions for great prices!
Came here by accident after being turned away from "Hooked fish and chips" down the street. We originally went to "Hook" to get some fish and chips but were kicked out because my kids were eating ice cream cones. I found that very rude and pretentious. So we came here to Pelican Rouge instead. SO GLAD WE DID!! food was delicious and fresh. Owner and waitress were friendly and service was excellent. You want good fish and chips? Cone here.
