What a terrible experience this evening. The online ordering was difficult. I couldn’t complete it from my phone on the payment entry screen as it kept getting stuck. Moved to my computer, entered the order and thought it done. I received a call shortly afterward and it was all down hill from there. I was advised that they did not have an item I requested. This is all well and good. I asked for it to be refunded and I was told no. The store couldn’t do anything about it and that I had to do it online. I spent the next 10 minutes going through the new account I had to make to order the pizza. I looked at the new account email and my reciept email, the online customer portal…. Nowhere to dispute charges or request a refund. There is no way to do it online. I called back and the person I spoke with insisted that they can’t and would not do anything and then hung up on me. Granted I was getting a bit heated at this point but they still just abruptly hung up. It was very clear to me at this time the person I spoke with was entirely unfamiliar with online ordering. They called me back. Told me they spoke with the owner. Advised me that my item refund would be processed after 24 hours. I asked them that my entire order be cancelled and my money refunded. I was asked for my order number, transaction number and email address. All of which I assumed they had, especially if they were issuing me a refund for the absent item. The person cut me off halfway through spelling out my email and said “Okay it will be refunded in 24 hours”. At this point I’m very angry. A terrible experience I just wanted it cancelled. I asked for a manager or the owner to call me back. The same person called me back two minutes later and said my whole order was cancelled and I’ll get my refund after 24 hours. Such a disappointment. We are new to the neighbourhood and were looking forward to trying the new places around here. Customers service experience was terrible. They had someone who was not familiar with process or the online system telling me to sort it out myself. If I don’t receive my refund I’ll be calling VISA to dispute charges for products not received. Very disappointed.

I placed my order online earlier in the day but she had no record of it when I got there. The young woman working there (alone as far as I could tell) was super apologetic and helpful. She made my order super quickly and saved the day! Great experience overall.

This business is absolutely disgusting. They refused to sell pizza to my two children who go to tutoring next door. They told my kids they needed to buy a full pizza as they were no longer selling slices to after school kids. Good luck with your business model and alienating a large segment of your customer base. The staff was extremely rude as well
Thin dough, salty sauce, poor toppings... none of the kids were satisfied.

Follow up review: A few days after my experience, the owner called me up and processed my refund and offered compensation. He was very apologetic. I appreciated his call and I look forward to trying their well-reviewed pizza.
Original review: I ordered 2 pizzas on the Clayton Pizza Avenue website. I went to go pick them up and there was a sign on the door saying they are closed on Sundays. The website did not mention that. Now I'm out $30 and no dinner.

Ordered online Sunday July 28 2024. Order went through and money was deducted from our account. This business was supposed to be OPEN on a Sunday but when we went to pick up their was some hastily drawn sign saying they were closed. Thieves took out money and no pizza. SHAME ON YOU. Doing a charge back with our bank, disgusted with this "local" business.

We ordered a pizza from Pizza Avenue on 188th today, Sunday July 28, 2024 at 5PM. Google has their hours as open from 11AM-9PM. Says it was updated 3 weeks ago. Skip also has them open on hours 11AM-9PM and available for order.
We ordered online through the Clayton link and the money was taken out of our bank account. Walked over to the “restaurant” to see that they had a sign on the door saying closed on Sundays. We got a call that the pizza was ready for pick up in South Surrey. We do not live out there, hence why we ordered from Clayton and the lady on the phone kept telling us “but your pizza is ready for pick up” when we explained our situation and frustration, no refund was offered so we will be working with the bank to hopefully do a charge back.
Just save your time and don’t go to this place at least until they have updated and have 100% correct hours like a respectable business should have. Save your self from the hassle.

Found out these guys don't have delivery option if you call them or put in an order on their web site. I had the pizza yesterday it was basically mediocre. I had their Taco pizza as I had not had that in a long time from any place, and the ingredients were pretty minimal. They must have swirled on only a little sour cream and the amount of meat / tiny chunks of tomato and paltry lettuce were not good either. There was a bit of an unpleasant after taste from the cheese that I did not enjoy. We got my kids the new work pepperoni. It had interesting cup shaped pepperoni toppings, but the amount of meat was not really satisfying. They were tasty though, but not really special beyond appearance. Parking for the pick up was easy. Store seemed clean from my brief time I spent in it.

This pizza is mediocre at best. Not crisp, barely any sauce and the toppings ridiculous spaced out and messy. 3/10 not the best not the worst. Won’t be back. If it cost $30 for two large and 1 small.. sure maybe. But $51?!
You’ve been warned.
