I used Rana Catering for my wedding since the Gurdwara Akali Singh recommended it. It was during covid so my party was small. I chose a package that included tea and snacks served at the milni and have the langar hall decorated nicely with a variety of lunch options. The morning of the wedding, they served me breakfast in the back room. My wedding took place in Hall #2. I remember taking a few bites and didn't like it. Moments later, the server grabbed all the food and repeated sorry, sorry, sorry and replaced with new food. I didn't understand what just happened until Mrs. Rana (the owners wife) told me the Gurdwara was at fault because the bride in Hall #1 had the same last name as my husband's and got my order, and I got hers. I then found out they decorated Hall #1 when we were in Hall #2. So both parties had to shuffle sides to eat breakfast then shuffle sides again to proceed with the ceremonies. After the wedding, my family told me they never received tea and snacks during milni. The servers walked right past my family and in-laws and served the other side who never even requested this with their caterer. Long story short, I went back to Mr. Rana and complained. He brought out the brochure menu (where I chose my menu package) and in red ink he wrote Hall #1! A mistake on his end. The whole time they tried blaming the Gurdwara for the mess up. Mr. Rana returned $200 to me. I told him this was unreasonable and he would not budge. I left his restaurant really disappointed in his service and attitude. The whole experience was embarrassing.
