I went to the Royal Taj Cuisine today and was very impressed. Such a clean restaurant with excellent ambiance. The food was absolutely amazing and very well priced. We had an opportunity to speak to the owners they were really nice and respectful and made sure we were well looked after. Their Rasmali dessert is absolutely delicious and made at the restaurant the best I have ever tried. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a great place for dinner. Service is top notch. We ordered kadhai chicken, butter chicken, daal makhni, moilee fish, Naan and tandoori bread. The Naan was crisp and fresh. The chicken was tender and tasty. I would definitely recommend Royal Taj.

We loved the food there, we went for takeout. loved their Malai chaap, Prawn Moilee was good, Rogan Josh and their mix veg curry was very good. Only disadvantage is location wise it’s not prime and it’s tucked away, kinda slightly hard to find

The food was absolutely delicious, every single dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. You can tell there’s so much care put into the cooking. On top of that, the service was exceptional. The owner personally served us and was so kind and welcoming, which made the meal feel even more special. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to friends and family.

This is some of the very tastiest and highest quality food I have ever had in the South Surrey area. The young guy who served us was very polite. Overall, it's 100 out of 100

Tried the Restaurant for the first time with my brother, btoh visiting from Australia. I was struck by the elegant decor, the ample bar and luxurious seating. Restaurant size was large enough to allow our group booking to be readily accommodated and small enough to feel intimate. There was easy parking, with signs to direct customers to the restaurant. The signs though might be more effective if larger.
Ordered three appetisers (chicken tikka, aloo tikki chaat, which is a dish of crispy potato layers with yogurt and chutneys and crispy bits - never tasted something like this before and never tasted a better potato dish! And Gol Gappe, which is a stylishly presented dish of delicate crispy pastry with spicy potato atop a shot glass of sweet and spicy green water ) two mains (goat curry as well as a cottage cheese dish) some sides (some garlic naans and paratha ) and dessert (gain jamun and rice pudding).
Each dish was truly delicious. Full of flavour, well balanced with the other dishes, authentic, with the naans made hot and fresh in the restaurant’s oven. We tried the pomegranate spirtz (an innovation of the restaurant) and mango lassi for drinks, both very good.
The service was prompt and attentive and friendly, and the meal very good value for money. When we mentioned we were too full for dessert but wanted to try some desserts, we found them accommodating us by providing a two in one dessert.
In Australia, there are many Indian restaurants that we have tried but my brother thought this was the best Indian food he had had, and I have to concur. Cldn’t fault the experience.
Well worth a try.
