I tried Carbonara Udon, and was amazing. Server was really quick and kind. I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely come back here.

Waiter really tried her best.
We explained that my partner couldn't have spicy, the burger he got had spicy mayo, my steak was dry and not med rare. Fries were not consistent, some were nice and crispy, some were soft.
Food got sent back and steak came out the same, veg came out less cooked, burger came back very plain. Partner said it was the worst burger hes ever had.
Drinks were comped then 15% taken off the whole bill.
Unfortunately, this ruined our anniversary, will not be coming back or referring to others.
Note: prior to this visit the food was amazing but my friend who did take me there said last time they took their family it was really bad and not the same as last time she went. Not sure if its different chefs? Unfortunate cause I enjoyed the time I went with my friend. :(

Expected more Australian flavors, the most Australian thing in their menu was the chicken salt fries. I ordered the steak rosti, asked for rare cook on my steak & received a medium well, for a $40+ entree, you would think they could get it right. Lots of Asian inspired flavors, I dont recall seeing in Australia.. desserts, nothing special, they could have had a Pavlova for authentic Australia taste, truly a missed opportunity for them.. would I recommend? Only if it was the only place open & you are starving, just don't order the steak cooked rare.. you will b disappointed.

My friends and I went for brunch July 2025 and it was great! Very easy via Skytrain it’s at King George Skytrain (walk towards back drop off and pick up area, head toward Tim Hortons and onto the Main Street it will be there) It’s a cozy, cafe seating in front outside or stay indoors.. food was great! Staff were lovely very polite and ensuring customers were happy. Washrooms are clean and it’s a nice atmosphere - a bit small but cozy spot :)

Great food! We ordered the Paneer fries, and Superfood Salad with Paneer as an add-on. I also got a mojito, which was made perfectly. The atmosphere is super instagram friendly, only complaint is that it was quite loud for a Thursday night.

Best cold almond latte I had two of them on single evening I liked their coffees the most. Didn’t get chance to try good food of them as I was too full and was in mood of only coffee. But next time I will for sure try food with my coffee.

A bit expensive. Not too much affordable variety in the menu.

Was excited to try this place, but honestly disappointed with the customer service—it felt cold and inattentive. The food was just okay, nothing special. Definitely room for improvement :(

The staff was amazing and the vibe was great! It was super quiet, romantic and quiet. The downside was that the food wasn't as exciting. I ordered the pork belly eggs benedict with the pave potato. Having never tried the potato dish, I was super excited but left disappointed as it wasn't crispy and almost tasted like boiled potatoes that have been left on the counter for a couple hours. Additionally, the parking was a hassle. I thought 1 hour would be enough but it wasn't enough time to finish the food. As only 1 hour is free, my friend and I debated whether we would return after paying for an additional hour but we decided against it while leaving half the food there.
Very nice spot at the Hub.
We were there for lunch so no drinks but their cocktail menu looked great.
I had the Pork Belly Benny.
Not my favorite Benny. But the quality was there.
I will definitely give it a second try to explore the menu further.

Ruex Cafe & Bar – A Hidden Gem in the Neighborhood!
Today we visited Ruex Cafe & Bar, and it truly exceeded our expectations. It’s conveniently located close to our home with easy parking, which was a great start.
The ambience is amazing – a perfect blend of a cozy cafe and a lively bar. The vibe and decor are thoughtfully designed, making it a great spot for any time of day.
We ordered the Crispy Ranch Chicken Burger and Pasta, both of which were absolutely delicious. After our meal, we enjoyed a fresh coffee and dessert – everything was served to perfection.
The highlight of our visit was meeting Jasmine, the owner of Ruex. She personally came to greet us and asked about our experience. She’s incredibly humble and respectful, which added a special touch to our visit.
We’re already looking forward to coming back soon for brunch! 😇😇
