The service was slow, with long waits for both drinks and food. When the main course arrived, the steak was mostly fat and not the quality I expected. Additionally, it was cooked medium-rare instead of medium, as requested. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations. This was my first and last visit at S+L

We had an amazing experience at S+L last night. Food was amazing. We got to have wine samples when we weren’t sure which wine to have. Our server, Morgan was an excellent server and put in 100% effort and went above and beyond. We had complimentary chickpea fritters. Vegan and gluten friendly dessert was definitely a bonus. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Ordered the top sirloin steak medium rare with green beans and mashed potatoes. Portion sizes are egregiously small for what you pay. $41 for a steak the size of half a tennis ball and $25 for the sushi "bowl".
My steak was not seasoned very well either. It was cooked properly medium rare as I ordered, but I barely tasted any salt and there was no pepper, which I thought was the bare minimum. The green beans were quite excellent, but again, the portion size was tiny.
We had to get fatburger afterwards and felt scammed as we left. Probably will not return unless the portion sizes increase by at least 60%.

Luisa was our server and an amazing human being. She was very polite, courteous and gave us some great recommendations. We were the last people, they never rushed us and ensured a great experience. The food tasted amazing, and the dessert Almost famous cake was actually the best i have ever had. The steelhead was banger, and so were the oysters. Maybe i am certainly missing out on few details, but highly recommended.

We're not strangers to S&L Bar & Restaurant in South Surrey, BC. In fact we couldn't count the number of times we've dined here. It's always a great experience. Yesterday (6th AUG) we were greeted by 'Hailey' who was also our server throughout. Always the consummate professional, she never missed a beat. Welcoming hospitality plus and read all our needs before we knew we needed them. Now here's the BEST part. Head Chef Kieshan prepared our meal to absolute perfection! We started with the Spiced Waffle Yam Fries .... the best! Also a side of the fried mac & cheese sticks. Great! For our entre we both had the Harvest Chicken. These were done to perfection. Beautifully prepared and the presentation was professionally done. No wonder Hailey was so pleased and smiling when she came to our table. Chef Kieshan really out did himself. Here is the he pièce de résistance of this meal ... "The Almost Famous Warm Butter Cake" You have to try this. It's sooooo good! A fist for us but this is our new favorite. Just received our burgers and they were cold plus it says they are smash burgers but they were obviously frozen patties. NOT GOOD AT ALL
Very dissapointing experience at this location being served food that wasn't even what was ordered but they pretended it was. Salty and dry chicken and soggy mushrooms. They need a new chef asap

My girlfriend and I went to have dinner tonight, Emily was our server and were consistently greeted with smiles and a very upbeat and positive attitude. Extremely fast service and the food was amazing. She also was extremely understanding of the fact that we had brought gift cards that were no longer usable, and in light of that she discounted our food by $25. 10/10 amazing experience!!

We had a lovely dinner on Saturday evening the 14th of July. The food was great but the best part was the service byMorgan. We all agreed she was the best server we had ever had in our dining out experience. That is saying something because three of us are in our nineties and two in our eighties. We will be back.
