The last few times we got the tuna bun, the quality has really gone down. The filling takes up about 1/6th of the bun. It's literally the size of a loonie. Really disappointing to see such an OG bakery go down this path to cut cost.

Those who know who know... no one in the town can beat their cake. Cake is soft not so sweet with good portion size and quality is all beyond. I always order their fruit cake. Personally recommend the store... I bet you will not regret your decision.

We have been here many times and love the cakes. However, this one instance took us by shock! When we visited on Saturday morning, the store open timings on Google said 9:30am and we arrived at 9:40am. The shutters were up, so we asked the staff who said timings were from 10am onwards. We agreed to wait. We observed one customer was allowed as early as 9:45am, who entered from the side of the shutters. We didn't make a fuss and waited patiently for the store to open as promised. Another gentleman was provided service at 9:55am while we were still waiting outside. When we entered at 9:58am, we were told that they were still not open and we needed to wait. While we were happy to wait for another couple of minutes, the fact that certain individuals were served while others were made to wait outside just because we didn't speak the language, seemed very unfair and unprofessional.

Our custom cake was not what we expected size, theme, or flavour wise. Icing was flavourless whipped cream and had lots of holes in the sides of the cake (as well as near the stick in decors as if it was placed then moved). Disappointed the decorations were not edible, but paper and plastic. We ended up redecorating the cake for the event. Also surprised they didn't even write Happy Birthday on the cake, but rather on the cake board. Would not recommend this for $160.
Their pastries (pineapple buns are great!) and other cakes - especially the fresh mango or fresh fruit - are recommended though.

The staff are kind and the baked goods are delicious! My go to place for pineapple buns, egg tarts, and birthday cakes. The pastries are fresh and delicious. The cakes are beautifully presented and not too sweet.
Placed an order for a Rose cake. We were delighted to taste it and found it to be out of the world. It was slightly sweetish, as compared to the other St. Germain products, but was soft and the layering was superbly executed. A variety of delicious fresh pastries, cakes and bread plus other assorted items (Tiramisu stands out). Our go-to place for cakes and pastries, thanks to the knowledgeable and helpful staff.

First time coming here, I thought there is a good selection but quite pricey than other places I've been. You would have to spend $20 on six pastries of choice in order to not get the GST.

I got my birthday cake from here (strawberry) and it was delicious. Not too sweet and light. My young kids weren’t a fan but definitely good for the adults at the birthday. This might become one of my favorite bakeries in the tri-cities. I will need to go back and try some more items!
