They don’t take reservations and being old it would have been horrible if we had to wait. We went a little early so we got in right away. We were celebrating so we called to see if we could bring a cake. They said they couldn’t put in fridge but if it could stay on table it was fine. When the time came, we were not allowed to bring it out to use. Atmosphere is lovely but I think we’ll have to find another Mexican restaurant. Their 30$ plate of nachos were great but the rest of the food was “ok”. P.S. Absolutely nothing that we ordered, not even the nachos, actually came with guacamole, that would have cost extra. You kinda think a 30$ plate of nachos could include guacamole.

Really authentic Mexican cuisine with great service and nice atmosphere. Our favorite Mexican restaurant...we travel 50 min from home to dine here, it's so worth the visit!
Our first time to this much talked about fairly new (5 mths) authentic Mexican restaurant in the lower level of the Old Surrey Restaurant, Surrey.
We were greeted and served by owner Paola, who is welcoming, hospitable and lovely.
You would never know you’re in a semi-below street level space as it is surprisingly bright and beautifully designed.
There are nicely spaced tables with a large bar using back lighting to highlight the stunning array of bottled beverages- alcoholic and non-alcohol.
We ordered from the Summer Specials Menu: Chicken (or Beef) Fajitas- rice ($3.50) and 4 soft corn tortillas (or 1 large flour tortilla) $2 extra. This was definitely the star 🌟 of the night- absolutely delicious. The tortillas are a nice addition, rice isn’t necessary as it’s quite a filling meal. Also, the Chicken (or Vegetarian) Enmoladas in Mole $23.95.
Everything was delicious and the in-house made Tortilla Chips & Chunky Salsa (gratis) are a nice starter. The menu isn’t too large, yet offers everything you’d want. I have a feeling everything they offer is done well and deliciously authentic.
We were mid-meal and already planning a return trip for an upcoming birthday, can’t wait! It’s nice to have Salsa and Guacamole so close to home without having to go to New Westminister for our mexican fix 🇲🇽.

This place is so great. Elevated high end Mexican fair. I'm almost worried about writing this review because we want to keep it our little secret. Food and cocktails are always of a very high standard. Best Mexican food in the area by far.
