Liars!! Bought a samosa and tikki. On their screen, the price showed $0.95 for a samosa and $0.85 for a tikki, but the lady charged me $2.50. I thought it was a mistake, but when I asked, instead of admitting it, she tried to confuse me, defended herself, and was extremely rude!
And just to be clear — in BC, you cannot add PST on food like samosas or tikkis. Even with GST, the total should have been $1.89, not $2.50. This overcharge felt intentional, especially during rush hour.
It’s not about the small amount — it’s about honesty. You can’t defend yourself when you’re clearly wrong. The attitude was terrible, so I just left. I had been a regular customer and even came from Vancouver because they are vegetarian, but after this experience — never again.
⚠️ PLEASE BE CAREFUL if you still decide to buy from them. Call them out even if it’s a small amount. This is not ethical business practice.

I have been buying their food from last 15 years . I bought Balushai today and it had absolutely no sugar. I usually buy balushai from them and this is not how it taste everytime. I called them and they did not admit it and also there were hair in samosas I bought about a month ago.They did not compensate me as well. I hope they can work on this.

Been going here for years. Delicious samosas and paneer pakora. I moved from Surrey to Vancouver Island and every time I come back to visit my family I order enough to bring back home to Victoria. Delicious. Wait times can be a bit long...but definitely worth the wait! Just finished some veggie samosas and pakora right now. I can tell its a family ran business which makes me want to support even more. Very hardworkers!

Horrible food, wasting of ur money, they are just giving u half cooked food, which is just disgusting , i felt sick after there food, plz donot go there if you care about ur health, and there staff uneducated and rude even don’t know who to speak to customer, there business is becoz of customer and they don’t know how to deal with them, next time even it is last restaurant on the earth i will not go there, i will love to die hungry, 😡😡😡😡

We dine in for lunch, and ordered chole bhature and chole puri. The food was amazing and fresh. But they need to work on their service, the server didn’t really pay attention.
