I can’t say enough about how amazing this fish and chip place is! I was looking on google and had a feeling this place was gonna be lit cause of the newspaper they used to put under the fish. I was right!! The food was so good that we ended up ordering more after finishing our meal. Everything was cooked to perfection… crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. The gravy was gas also!! The atmosphere was great for dining in, and the staff was friendly and attentive. If you’re a fan of fish and chips, this spot is a must visit. We’ll definitely be coming back!

When I arrived at 5:30pm, there were no other visitors at this location. I decided to have the Cod fish & chips, calamari, and crab extremers. The fish and chips along with the calamari were decent, but the crab extremers seemed a little soggy and had a taste reminiscent of frozen food.

It is way too expensiveve in comparison to Cockney fish and chip. Small fish and very large fries for $38. Cockney fish & chips you pay $20 for same size

A long time patron over the past 5 or 6 years of Scott's Landing Fish & Chips. Today went in to order usual which is calamari and 3 piece cod and fries. The staff was not familiar. Arrived about 40 minutes before closing.
Calamari was over cooked and was not the same caliber as before which was one of the best. Also the portion was noticeably smaller.
The cod appeared not to be fresh hand battered as before, but pre-packaged portion. It was also over cooked and not flavourful as before.
French fries were also not fresh-cut but clearly from some plastic bag dumped into the fryer and then overcooked and flavorless.
The tartar sauce was more like mayonnaise. Before it was close to the best I've tasted.
The service was lacking in that there was no service. Potential customer came in and the staff said they were no longer serving, but the open sign was busy flashing. Still had 5 minutes before closing and was reminded of that.
Overall the staff had a bad attitude which is so sad. I asked If the store was under new management and was informed that Dale had decided to retire and hand the reins over to another family member.
It saddens me to write this review as I am not one to usually voice my opinion in such matters. However when paying good monies for such an all round bad experience it is maddening.
Dale would come out purposely to ask each and every customer and inquire how everything is/was, and it came from a genuine interest. Today's experience was at best going through the motions.
This was one of the best Fish and Chips in the game, however I can not recommend Scott's Landing anymore. Sorry Dale.

Me and my grandma (and sometimes my whole family) would come here all the time, I HAVE to start by saying how kind and awesome the owner and servers are. They were part of why we kept going to the place. The fish and chips are AMAZING and so were the clam bites, I really wish they kept those?

Fish (cod) was excellent, poutine was the best I've had other than Costco and the mushy peas were the best I've had since the last time I was in England
This is one of the best fish and chip places I've ever been to. Really good food and it's always perfectly made, not greasy or undercooked. Would definitely recommend going to them again and again.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST FISH AND CHIPS IN TOWN! What a great restaurant and like others have said, it's family run by the most wonderful family. So many amazing seafood items to choose from (and non-seafood too!) they have fish and chips, cod, halibut to shrimp and scallops as well as the best poutine ever! 100% RECOMMEND!

Food is great but service is not good. They first did not want to serve because it was 6.30 pm. Than gave me the food without utensils or drink. I had to ask for each separately. Place has potential but mindset has to change.

First time trying this restaurant and did takeout. The fish was very greasy and the batter was falling off. The fries were just ok. The tartar sauce in just mayo and was awful on the fish. This is the first time I have ever posted a review on any restaurant. I'm not sure how their rating is so high.
