Omg! Ordered a large and literally 10 slices of strawberries on top. Comparing to the pictures in the review, so different... This store is preparing to close soon ?

I came to this location on September 3rd and the guy that was working that day was in a very bad mood since the beginning, I asked if he had the mango bingsoo but he didn’t have any mango so I asked for the strawberry and he gave me cheesecake instead, I kindly told him that I wanted the strawberry not the cheesecake and he told me in a VERY bad way that I was lying and walked away while I was still talking to him.he then came back with the strawberry bingsoo with barely any strawberry’s and no condensed milk. For reference this is how it looked like and then how it’s supposed to look like.

Fine ice!
I think it will elevate the dish if more texture is put on top like cookie crumble or smthing

I absolutely recommend Snowy Village for the bingsoo, it is absolutely delicious. I have eaten different asian-inspired fruit/shaved-ice desserts but this is by far the best. The sweetness/flavor level is outstanding, and the shaved ice is so soft and melts in your mouth in a delicious way. We always order mango bingsoo, the mango in it is always ripe and it's my favorite. I honestly can't say I've tried the other flavors, but I see a lot of others eating them and enjoying them. I would also recommend the tayaki, a pastry shaped like a fish with a delicious filling of either nutella, chocolate, custard or red bean. I have tried all and my favorite is the red bean and custard. The pastry is fresh-made in a waffle-type maker, and it comes to you hot and crispy. Be careful when eating as the filling is hot. But it is so worth it! I usually order the bingoo and tayaki as the hot and cold combination is a winner. The price of the bingsoo is around $14-16 depending what size you get, I got a large and it was shareable between myself and 2 friends. We also ordered 3 tayaki for about $12 which is is a great deal. It could use more staff for how busy it gets, but it is worth the wait for the quality of the desserts!

What happened?
I previously rated this place 5 stars, but after my latest visit, I have to adjust to 3 stars. I am going to be avoiding this location.
Sadly, the product has really gone downhill since we first started going near the time of their opening in Guildford.
On our latest visit, we ordered a mango Bing soo and were so disappointed by what we were served. A boring looking Bing soo, with scant amounts of mango and drizzle. Completely different from what we remembered!
We went to Snowy Village in Guildford often when it first opened and always left feelimg satisfied and impressed with their Bing soo.
Generous toppings and some wow factor to the presentation and a consistently good product were characteristic of Snowy Village. Unfortunately the current state of their product does not live up to previous standards and I've reluctantly adjusted my review and rating. Will be looking for another Bing soo place south of the Fraser River.

Would not be coming back. The owner, older male is very rude. The food was made very fast and not with care. Didn’t taste good. What a waste of money and time.

They close a whole hour early. and its not because of the snow....every single other store in the same complex is open and people are buying normally. The city removed most snow since morning. They dont even put a notice on google maps or even at their door. And this is not the first time. i went last time were there wasnt even snow and the same thing happened again. This branch manager has to be fired.

We visited the dessert place at 8pm, after 10 minutes we placed order at the cashier. The staff was very rude and impatience, he told us to order quickly, and said he was about to close. However the business hour says it opens till 9pm.We ordered an Oreo Bingsoo, a strawberry Bingsoo, and some Taiyaki. Taiyaki is good. But the Oreo tastes nothing special, just shaved ice with crushed Oreo and piece of Oreo on top. Not feel like it worths CAD14.

We tried the cheesecake, mango and black bean flavors. The shaved ice desserts are tasty. Place could use an upgrade to make the experience better.
