Dear Starbucks Management,

I am writing to express my significant disappointment regarding the cleanliness and lack of hygiene standards at your Starbucks establishment located on 152 St and 102 Ave in Guildford.
.
During my recent visit, the overall appearance of the store was uninviting due to a clear lack of cleanliness. More critically, the men's restroom was in an unacceptable state: there was no toilet paper, discarded papers littered the floor, and two empty rolls remained in the dispenser, indicating a lack of regular checks.

When I requested toilet paper, a staff member brought a roll into the men's room but placed it on the handicap assist bar instead of the dispenser, and instructed me to unwrap it myself before leaving. This level of service and attention to basic hygiene is frankly unacceptable.

This isn't an isolated incident; I've encountered similar issues at Starbucks before. While profitability is undoubtedly important, hygiene and customer comfort should be paramount. The fact that empty rolls were present suggests a severe oversight in routine restroom maintenance. Given the prices charged for your products, customers expect and deserve a clean and fully stocked facility. I took some pictures this particular time as a proof for my comments.

Unfortunately, this experience has led my partner and I to conclude that we will no longer be patronizing Starbucks.

I have had continuous issues with ordering from this Starbucks via Uber Eats. My coworkers and I order Starbucks almost every day and this establishment seems to constantly ignore when a coffee has been ordered with almond milk or oat milk. They always use regular cows milk. I am someone who has severe allergy to cows milk….and because a lot of these drinks also have sweet syrups in them it masks the milk….i have incurred allergic reactions bad enough to have to be sent home, one time even to the doctor. Choosing a milk alternative is not just something bougie people do. Some of us can get really ill. In the last month they have made the drinks with cows milk instead of milk alternative 10 times. Either management needs to double check what their employees are doing or some people need to be fired for such carelessness/disregard. Today this happened and they also left a drink completely out of the order, when I called for customer service 3 times - no one answered.

The server was very kind and my drink came fast. There was a moderate amount of business and I felt fairly safe in the area. Would definitely come here again! ❤️

It’s a Starbucks. Crowded, noisy, meh drinks and very busy. Waiting almost 15 minutes for an ice tea refresher.

The new East Indian employee at this location is extremely rude, as soon as I got to the drive thru window she was giving me attitude. She “forgot” to make my drink and had me waiting for 20 minutes at the window before I had to knock myself on the window and get her attention. She told me a blatant lie that there was a “system error” and that’s why she didn’t make my drink, no apology or anything she just tried to argue with me.
Please don’t hire people like this and make it into another Tim Hortons. I used to be a regular here but I never came back after this incident

It was strange that it was the first time I went in to buy something, and after waiting, it became clear to me that my coffee was ready at the end of the place, but the service employee did not bother to tell me, even though I was standing in front of her.
The coffee was good and Brownie was very very good

Somehow this Starbucks drive thru is always crowded. They have very small parking area for maneuvering during the long queue days.

I've been to many Starbucks locations in the lower mainland and this location has by far the worst customer service and slowest drive-thru. It took the lady 15 minutes to take my order at the drive-thru speaker phone when there was only 3-4 cars in front of me that have already ordered. Are they not aware of the limited lot space in that area? The Starbucks at Pacific Link has a busier drive-thru and longer lineups than this location and yet they manage to get orders out reasonably quick...

I'm changing my rating to 4 stars from 1 star now because I started visiting this location again recently and have noticed a change in their hiring. So I think it's only fair I update my rating to provide future customers my latest feedback regarding this location.

They are starting to employ workers that provide better customer service and have been picking up the slack on the drive thru. The unpleasant workers I've encountered here over 2-3 years ago no longer work here.
