I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at this Starbucks location. I arrived at 8:53 PM, well before their posted closing time of 9:00 PM, only to find the doors already locked. A barista inside saw me at the door but deliberately turned away without acknowledging me. I had been looking forward to grabbing a latte all day after work, and this was incredibly frustrating.
Earlier, around 8:35 PM, I also tried to place a mobile order so it would be ready by the time I arrived and the order is not very last minute but the app showed that mobile ordering was unavailable, which forced me to try and order in person.
If the store isn’t going to serve customers until closing time, that should be clearly communicated. Turning customers away before hours are up and without so much as a word is poor service. I hope this issue is addressed.

Very disappointed with the service today at Starbucks. I ordered coffee and a banana loaf. When I picked up my order, the loaf wasn’t warm, so I politely asked the staff to warm it. The person rudely said he can’t do anything as I had already touched it. When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed to be the manager himself and responded very disrespectfully. As a regular customer, I expect better behaviour. I even offered to pay for a new one, but he refused. This is not the customer service Starbucks promises.

R u guys for real is this right way to make matcha so many lumps i get that u guys must be bzy but if a customer is paying u its ur duty to make the right thing an moreover i asked for lavender matcha latte but instead they gave me vanilla one even tho I repeated my order twice

This is the WORST Starbucks IN ALL OF SURREY. If you can, avoid it at all costs. There is a Tim Hortons down the road that provides quicker and better service. There is also another Starbucks location on 96th. The manager here acts like he is a gift from God. I went through the drive though once, and the speaker where they take your order was glitchy and not working. I had to repeat myself 5 times over and over again, but instead of acknowledging that it was an issue on their end, when I got to the pick up window, the Manager scanned my Starbucks card for payment and refused to give me my order. The manager said the employee who took the order was on break crying because I hurt his feelings by loudly repeating my order. He claimed I was yelling at the worker when I was speaking into the glitchy microphone that THEY did not fix. Instead of saying it was a misunderstanding on both ends and rectifying the issue, he became irate. Worst manager. Worst Starbucks location. Stay away from this place and save yourself from getting yelled at by the manager. He’s deluded and giving the Starbucks brand a bad name.

tbh, they don’t even deserve 1star at this point. most of the time there employees are confused i don’t know why it’s so hard to understand the order. and the lady who was working today at the drive through didn’t even know how to talk to the customers. she was extremely rude and arrogant. very disappointing …….

Omg, I went through the drive thru today around 10:08am.. I have to leave a review of the young man working there this morning. So friendly and it was so nice to have a conversation that didn't feel robotic or forced, a genuinely nice person. I truly hope he gets a little bonus or something because that was excellent service!
