I called to place an order and was extremely frustrated by the lack of basic customer service. The staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive from the start. She told me that a 24-hour notice was required for a single platter, which has never been my experience at other Subway locations or even at this location previously.
I explained that I was calling four hours in advance and asked if they were especially busy, but she ignored the question. When I asked if I could instead order four footlong subs due to the urgency, she responded, “well I guess I have to do that,” and then hung up on me.
This interaction felt rude and unprofessional, and it was disappointing to be treated this way when simply trying to place an order.

Just an usual Subway, Clean store and very friendly staffs but the owner is quite rude and smug looking, love getting sandwiches here for some time and their cookies are so good haha.

i’ve been going to this subway for a very long time and i have to say it may be one, if not the best subway i have been to. The customer service is off the charts amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and considerate. Even though this subway is quite far from where i live i definitely don’t mind travelling the extra mile knowing i will be greeted with smiling faces and a positive environment. As for the food it may be the only place that never gets my complicated order wrong. Everything they serve taste fresh and delicious. I would have to say whether or not you live near the area to give this place a try.

If I could, I would give the store a zero star. I attended the store on May 5, 2025 after receiving the subway coupons. My coupon allow me to purchase large sub and get complimentary potato rings with a drink. Me and my wife with our baby we ordered large sub and we asked if we could replace the potato rings with nachos with the two dollars additional cost as stated in their store that we can upgrade the meal with nachos on additional cost for $2. The girl at the counter nodded and she gave us nachos and regular cup and the sub, but she accidentally overcharged us. When we brought this over to her attention, she said she’s new and she was very nervous so she wasn’t able to make the refund so she told us to come the next day and there’s someone else who would process the refund. We were being nice and my wife was like oh the girl seems really nice and sweet it seemed like she was about to cry because she made a mistake and overcharged for the drink and nachos. So basically we paid full price for what we got - a sub, nachos and a drink whereas with that coupon we were supposed to pay for a sub and upgraded nachos -only $2. We left the store as we would come back the next day. The next day we went to the store to get a refund. The girl at the front was nice. She called her boss. Boss seemed so cheap and dumb. First of all he took all the details and he started checking cameras to see if we were there the previous day then he started whining about that we were not overcharged, even though I have proof that we were overcharged. I will post a picture of the receipt and the coupon here to prove that we were overcharged. I was on the call with him for 10 minutes over the phone and he kept arguing that oh you came here for just $4.50(tried making joke of it) the way I went back for my $4.50. He was arguing that I love my money and he loves his money. It is ok to love money but it is not ok to cheat customers. First overcharging and then making joke and trying to show you coming back for few bucks. I was so frustrated after waited half an hour. I actually had to throw his phone away in the car park to compensate my $4.50 as he cheated me and refused to refund my money. If he had any customer service skills then he would go and check with his employee who served us and overcharged us and who asked us to come back for refund but he didn’t and he simply decided to refuse. I would never go back to the store and I will file official complaint with Subway for the service and a terrible experience over my deserving refund with the store owner. It is sad to see the service of the subway is dropping so much because of these cheap owners.

I had an amazing experience at this Subway recently. Today, was a baddd day. Work was terrible and I just wanted to get a cookie. I consider myself a subway fanatic, and this was my best experience yet. The staff was extremely friendly and generous. Especially BOSS MAN. Go get yourself a Churro and foot long cookie, it was epic!!! Super yummy and it was warm! Really made my night complete.

Visited this location recently for late lunch with my family. Each time our food was made quickly and with a smile. Owners were around a couple times as well and they were awesome! This is a reliable Subway, unlike some others lately.

The staff making the sandwiches are nice enough but the one that comes out of the back is extremely rude. She actually rolled her eyes at me. I will not go back and I have a lot of friends who live in Ocean Park I have already told and will continue to spread it. We each tell 5 people it is like wildfire. They will find that they need to be more polite to their customers or go out of business. This Subway has changed it never used to be like this. It deserves a big fat 0 stars! They won't get a another chance from me. Don't want my money you must not need it. I will go out of my way to a Subway more deserving of the business! FYI the Subway on King George and 156 they are amazing with amazing owners go there!!!
