Sharing for a friend. Bought fish pakora from this place for a couple years, normally paid $15.75 with taxes for 2 pounds. Unfortunately recently went into the shop to get the order. The owner was there and was told picking up 2lbs of fish. He went to the back and it seemed a new girl was working because she didn’t know how to use the terminal machine. Someone came to help & now charged $16.80. Instead of being charged $15 plus gst, charges were $15 plus HST. Should have questioned them then. Next, food was handed over & specifically asked is this 2lbs?( it felt so light), girl replied yes. After leaving & opening, noted right away it didn’t look like 2lbs. Put it on a scale & it was a pound less! If taken out of the container, it would be even more lighter. Contacted the shop & went through few people before owner gave excuses as to why it was lighter. They cut & batter the fish until it weighs 2lbs then when put in container, the air escapes. The most terrible excuse, when batter is added to anything it naturally weighs more. Very upset owners didn’t apologize & instead of saying sorry, please pick up the rest of your order they tried to shift the issue. Lost a customer and others. Unfortunate having to give a review in order to be heard.

I want to express my disappointment regarding an incident that occurred recently. After enjoying the food I ordered from your restaurant for my event, I confidently recommended your establishment to a friend who had tasted the food at my function and was eager to place an order.
However, when he visited your restaurant, not only was he met with rude and unprofessional behavior, but the owner even left the conversation midway during the bargaining process. This lack of professionalism caused my friend to abandon the discussion entirely and leave without placing an order.
This experience is unacceptable, especially since I had recommended your restaurant with full confidence. While good food can attract customers, poor behavior and dismissive attitudes can quickly undo that goodwill. I will no longer recommend your establishment to anyone and will make sure to share this negative experience with others.

My boss and I got samosas on our lunch break. We always get samosas from this restaurant because they are so fresh and tasty. Always have very good chutney until today. It seemed like this was an extra old one left in the back of a fridge. It tasted like burnt. Very disappointed with the chutney today.

Purchased 10 samosas today but found out its was not at all fresh, stale and smelly potatoes... Samosas must be a frozen ones, deep fried again and quite oily... Honestly didn't feel like eating them at all. And that too with a watery green chutney. Won't recommend Samosas from this place.
