Very disappointed by my recent visit, amount of fish is significantly less and they grind up the tuna and salmon for all the rolls now. For reference 8 months ago it was whole cuts of fish. I am very disappointed in the decrease in quality. After going here for 6 years, such a decrease in quality is very saddening. Local sushi restaurants in Guildford offer better now.

Just want to say that any sushi place anywhere we went, we ended up coming back to Sushi California; specifically their Surrey location. Their service are amazing and staff are patient. Also the portion they provide is not comparable with any other sushi resturant and their prices are decent sometimes even cheaper then some other places we have tried and all this encourage us everytime to come back to Sushi California.🙂

Not sure how the quality of food, service and atmosphere has fallen. A lot of the nigiri and maki rolls have really fell in quality. Yakasoba taste dry and no smoke flavor on the chicken teriyaki.

Servers seem super stressed with it being no check ups at all

Edit: just saw 6 people get there tables... but we've been seated for 15 minutes and we haven't been asked anything...
