10 years ago the quality of the food was pretty good. Recently they did some renovations and brightened up the restaurant. It was very promising as it looks nice. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has gone downhill in recent years. I was there last week and the rice was over cooked that it was a paste like consistency making it very hard to swallow as it was sticking to the roof of my mouth. Then I ordered an unagi roll and after one bite i can immediately taste that it is old eel. Best I can describe it is that it smells like it was left out overnight in a sunny day. When I pointed this out to them I got an apology from the waitress and not the cook or chef. On top of that, we weren’t even offered a discount for the food. I didn’t ask but I would think after pointing out two big issues with the food that it would at least a discount would be offered up.

I have been going here for over 10 years but last week was the final time. It’s unfortunate because it’s a convenient location and nice looking but that is about as far as it goes.

The waitress that served us last was nice enough but niceness does not make up for chintzy chefs and poor quality food.

Quiet, big space, never too loud. All food arrived within 20min of ordering.

Pricey for OK food... but at least service was good.

Usually have good experience with this restaurant until today. My wife and friends went today, ordered 4 course meals but the final bill charged additional 2 more dishes. Initially Our party didn't notice, and paid for it. Afterwards doubtfully thought about incredible high bill, so asked Waiter to show the detail of the bill. The waiter was holding the bill on his hand and was trying go through the order details as quick as he can, and offer refund 1 course meal charge. That's right, 1 course meal. Remember I said earlier, 4 people 4 courses, but the bill charged 6 courses, but the waiter was trying to fool us around. I don't care the waiter was not in the moon or intentionally trying to steal money from customer, but this behavior was unacceptable. That's why 1 star review wrote on it.

My dad and I come here almost every week, and we get treated like family. The servers are so fast, we get our food within minutes. While dad absolutely loves their Favorite Combo, I find that there's a great selection on the menu, that my husband and I like to explore and share. This place continues to be our #1 Sushi place in Surrey, and has been voted for as such by Surrey for many years!

Actually surprised at how good it was! The wild salmon was perfect. Two nigiri ran about 8.50$. Had the real crab cali roll. It could have been rolled a bit better because it fell apart, but they let the crab shine through. Not too much sauce. Yum! Miso soup was perfect. Service was quick and easy with table side computers. Took sushi home for husband too. Worth your time.

There were no servers every time we needed them so had to call them all the times.

Pretty good spot for sushi in the Guildford - Surrey area if you're looking for more of a sit down sushi place near the mall.

I ordered the Spicy Salmon Don, and the spicy sauce was pretty good. Definitely had that spicy and sweet kick to it like most sashimi and spicy gochujang based sauces. The salmon to rice ratio was a little off, as they jam packed that bowl with rice. Value wise though it was pretty average. It may not be the best deal in the lower mainland for a sashimi rice bowl, but the price was pretty fair.

Ordering was quite easy as they have the self-serve iPad option, where you can just use the iPads to send in your order. The tables and seating arrangements were quite spacious.

Overall I'd come here again if I'm craving sushi, especially after a good shopping spree across the street.

From the street this place looks like it has few available parking stalls, but there's actually quite a fair bit of open stalls past the initial entrance to the plaza - absolutely love that.

Use to go here regularly. Lately all this heavy mayo on in the rolls. Gross

Not sure why it's only 3 star, the quality and quanity of their dishes says otherwise.
