Generous servings of incredibly flavourful food. The fish wss my favourite
Amazing food! We loved it. Got the honey jerk chicken with jollof rice and it was so flavourful and had a great spice to it. Great service and atmosphere too. Highly recommend!
I tried it once it was way to spicey and very oily the fufu had a burnt flavor to it. Is it supposed to taste that way if so maybe it was my own taste buds not liking it.
First time getting fufu here it was quite good, second time it wasn't as fresh as the first time. We ordered the same food and the texture was different the second time.
Food is great, when it’s great. My last two attempts to eat here the service was so horrible I walked out. Of course you have to walk past homeless people just to get in. Watch for needles. Any time I say hello they don’t answer back. Service is horrible. Prepare to be treated less than human. Sometimes food is overcooked. When the food is good it’s great. But, unfortunately I have given up on coming here. The service is so bad. Maybe they just don’t like white people.
A True Taste of Comfort and Culture
From the moment the plate hit the table, I knew I was in for a treat.
The fufu was a masterpiece—smooth, soft, and expertly prepared. It had that perfect bounce and texture that only comes from skillful hands and real attention to tradition.
Each scoop felt like a warm hug, ready to soak up all the rich flavors of the soup.
And oh, the okra stew—it was bold, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The spice level had just the right kick, warming the palate without overwhelming it.
The highlight, though? The meat. It was incredibly tender- juicy and cooked to perfection. It soaked up the spices of the stew so well, delivering a savory, spicy burst in every bite.
This was more than just a meal—it was an experience. Comforting, authentic, and absolutely unforgettable.
We'll be coming back as we traveled from North Vancouver
I love eating the fufu and egusi here they make it so flavourful and they have good portions.
Had pounded yam and egusi. Her soup is good and I enjoyed my dinner. I’ll recommend anytime.
A small gem in the heart of Surrey. Been buying take out for 3 times now and I never had a bad experience with them. The place feels homey. Food always taste great especially the jollof rice and jerk chicken. Takes some time for them to prepare the food but worth the wait. The ladies always gives a great service and they give me extras everytime. Seeing people complain about how spicy it is but it should be spicy. Highly recommend.
we liked them very much. the lady was so sweet

1st time having fufu and Eguisi soup and most likely my last it was to spicy and there was a taste I could just not get past, sorry but didn't taste good at all idk if it was the goat meat or
Something that tasted kinda fishy idk but it was the whole thing. I spent alot of money for something we couldn't eat.
The foods are so delicious and the owner is so sweet and friendly. I would definitely recommend it to all my friends 😊😍
