Thakar Thal - Gujarati Rajasthani Thali

Was not open during advertised open-hours, phone number on the door turned out to be for a different business, and phone number on Google Maps had been disconnected. Tried knocking on the door to no avail. Our aunt was super exceited about trying vegetarian Gujarati food as were we, we were totally ok ignoring the bad reviews and to assume the food is probably good even if there's some isues - it was a bummer we did not even get to try any food to leave a review. :-(

The first time experience on a weekend was good as they had a buffet going, and there were lots of options and the service and food were both great.
Expecting a similar experience visited them again after a month for dine in, but was heavily disappointed with the good options as well as the quality of the food.
Not sure if I want to try again.

Average food. I was excited to taste Gujarati food in Surrey but this place didn't live up to expectations. Average food. Bad service and atmosphere. Tables and washrooms were dirty. Floor was sticky. Items were missing in my takeout order. When I called to complain, I was told nothing can be done about it.

Worst food ever I have eaten it was just awful if you love your health then please don't go to this restaurant my humble request.........also be aware from this kind of restaurant where there is lack of hygiene.

Great food and great service, genuine Gujarati taste, service was fast and quick. Cleanliness was top notch would recommend it to everyone!!!!!

If there is a zero star. I wannna give that. the food is so expensive but the quality doesn't have any value. I ordered bajara rotla. I was bitter. Mean that the flour has been expired. Never ever will suggest it.

As a Gujarati who was desperately looking for some Gujarati cuisine options in Surrey I came across this place. And it did not disappoint loved it. Food was so yummy and authentic and the girl at front was so kind and polite and so helpful. From the price perspective it is reasonable price for the amount of food you get. Overall I’d say “bahuj saras”

New all vegetarian restaurant is the biggest upside of it. Food quality was mixed - both good and not that good. Needs a strong and professional management of operations. Lack of it was clearly visible in every department of the restaurant. Based on many ‘not that’ positive reviews, am looking for improvements. Will monitor the further reviews before giving a second try!
