My husband, two kids (teen and young adult), and I were in White Rock for an appointment, and decided to visit The Back Room after seeing good reviews for it and wanting to try their unique menu.
We didn't know what to expect, and we were simply blown away by the incredible food! We live in the Vancouver area and have had Indian food many times, but all the dishes we tried at The Back Room were totally new to us and sooo good!
The quality and presentation were top-notch, but most importantly, the food was outstanding and absolutely delicious. On top of all that, we were lucky to have made it in time for their Happy Hour and tried their street food appies at a major discount. (In this economy, it's tough to afford restaurant food, but The Back Room was such an amazing value.)
We were also very pleased with the service. All of our hostesses were attentive, polite, and patient as we asked questions and made our selections. Couldn't have been happier—we were more than willing to leave them a big tip.
We can't stop raving about The Back Room to our family and friends and wish we lived closer so we could eat there more often! If you're in the area, it's a must-try!

I always love their momos. But i was disappointed by the quantitity of them. i.e. 6 pieces for $18. Last time i ordered and got 8 momos, i was happy thinking maybe they realized its too expensive. But today i got only six. Thats a bit confusing.

Visited this places for anniversary, the food was not very tasty all the dishes had same gravy base and also the quantity according to price was way less, never coming back and not going to recommend to anyone

Heard good reviews about The Backroom. So, we went with family on my wife’s birthday, we were disappointed. No doubt, the food tastes good. But, that was the only good thing there.
We went on a weekday (Wednesday), only 3 tables were occupied including ours. The service was super slow. We ordered whiskey and white Sangria. It took 20 minutes to get the Sangria. And this is the first time we have seen a Sangria with just slice of apple. Also, drinks for ladies were supposed to be 50% off. We were charged full for that, we checked it after reaching home. We called them twice to get it fixed, they promised to call back but no one called back and nothing was done.
The ambience was ok, not great. It was very open kind and the seating was very close to other tables. It looked like a good Ahaata from Chandigarh ?
