My Server Lisa went above and beyond making sure we were looked after. She was very pleasant and attentive to all our needs. She made it so comfortable we will be back.

The Bennett Pub offers a warm, welcoming experience that feels like a true neighborhood hangout. Originally opened in 1938 as the historic Tudor Inn, it was Surrey’s first licensed pub after Prohibition, giving the space real local character. Today, the atmosphere is cozy yet lively, with friendly staff and a relaxed crowd. Food is classic pub fare done right, paired with a solid craft beer selection—perfect for casual dinners, sports nights, or meeting friends.

Came in to watch the game. Normally don’t order food but was feeling nachos so we put in an order. Cost of Nachos was over $30, and they were so poorly made. No cheese, no toppings, just a few chips! We felt ripped off and the server never came by to ask how the food was so we just put it aside and ate a few chips but it was not good. The nachos should have been no more than $12. Won’t be supporting this place anymore, our nachos + 3 drinks was $75 after tip. For that price we could have had a better time somewhere else. Don’t come here for food, drinks only.

Went for a visit after an absence of roughly 2 years. The hot wings were overcooked and amongst the worst i have had in the lower mainland. To add to my disgust was the price which was just ove $19. Three pepper wings at the Keg are $19 and excellent and an atmosphere and environment to match. Sorry to say, the Bennett in South Surrey, definitely not the heart of South Surrey, is not a place im returning to in a hurry.

Food took a nose dive lately. Not sure why. Used to be delicious..
Used to be one of the best pizzas in town. Now I'd take one from Shoppers over that.

Nice place, but not my style.
We went to this pub for the first time and were very disappointed. The service was not prompt, but I think that the waitress was given a very large section to tend to by herself... What earned the one star was that we were there for a fundraiser which included a drink and a burger (a burger, whether beef or veggie, was the only option for the ticket we had already purchased). When I ordered the burger without sauces she said that the burger could only be made with sauce. That there are no special orders and the buns are all laid out and sauced already... Really? I'm not unreasonable (I think), but that's not a great explanation. In the whole bar and the whole kitchen there's not a bag of buns without mayo on them? Really? I cannot have a burger without mayo? That sucks. That's bad service with no effort to try and get me a plain burger (is it that hard to make a plain burger?). So I placed the order, ate the fries, and gave my sauced burger to my friends at the table. The burger didn't look very good anyways so I don't think I really missed out, but the lack of service and effort was not great. Perhaps sometimes the server and kitchen should try to bend their rules just a bit and figure out how to break the law of physics and make a burger with no mayo to have a satisfied customer. (Also, the glass of Stella I ordered smelled and tasted weird, but I'm not going to get into that).
